Meet the team

In common with many people who grew up in Naval families I was born and spent many of my formative years in the Plymouth area. I graduated from Cambridge University in 1981 and worked in small animal practice in south east England for four years. In 1985 I moved to Somerset, initially doing mixed work but have looked after small animals for the last twenty years. I am extremely excited to become a partner in this fantastic new venture in Plymouth.
I see myself as a companion animal GP and I am dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care to the people of the Plymouth area from this 'state of the art' new surgery. Outside work I like to relax with my wife, three children and our two dogs, 'Jack' a Springer Spaniel and 'Cotley', a black labrador.

After growing up in Nottinghamshire I qualified as a vet from Liverpool University in the summer of 2016 and moved to the South West. After spending 2 years working as a mixed practitioner, I decided to join the team at Vets4Pets in July 2018 to pursue my passion for small animal medicine and surgery.
Outside of work I enjoy playing and watching sports, exploring the local scenery and countryside, or relaxing at home enjoying a film with my partner Kim and our cats.

I graduated in June 2010 from Bristol University and have worked for Vets4Pets since we opened our doors in 2011. I have a keen interest in exotic pets, dentistry, wounds and orthopaedics.
Outside work I enjoy horse riding, walking, socialising with friends and spending time with my family. My favourite food is chocolate!

I started training to be a veterinary nurse in 2001, and qualified in 2005. I have always loved animals and wanted to be in a profession where I could care for and help all types of different animals. I worked in Greece for 5 years which was very interesting as their animal culture is very different to ours. I returned to the UK and started working for Vets4Pets in September 2011, I love all aspects of my job but I have a special interest in Diabetes and run our supportive diabetic clinics.
I have a lovely crossbreed dog called SJ that I hand reared, as she was dumped in a box at 1 day old in Greece and I brought back with me.

Originally from London, I studied for my FdSc in Veterinary Nursing at Duchy College and graduated in November 2016. I currently live in Exeter with my fiancé and our son, Archie.
I have been with Vets4Pets Plymouth for 3 years now and I love it! I enjoy all aspects of my job especially when it comes to theater, dentistry and nurse clinics.
Back at my mum's I have my Chihuahua Coco. She is best buddies with Archie when they get together!

I started working at Vets4Pets as a receptionist in August 2015 and have absolutely loved it since day one! I was brought up around lots of pets and my family has a smallholding a few miles away with a massive variety of different animals on it. At my home in Plymouth I have a crested gecko as well as a crazy 2 year old German shepherd x Border collie called Buddy who keeps me on my toes!
In my free time I enjoy horse riding, kayaking and long walks with my dog. In September 2018 I became a student veterinary nurse and I am absolutely loving being more hands on with the treatment of our patients. I cannot wait to qualify so that I can start to really make a difference to animal’s lives! I love seeing pets leaving after their treatment looking so much better than when they came in. That is what makes all the hard work from everyone on the team so worth it!

Sissi Foster
Student Veterinary Nurse

I joined the Vets4Pets Plymouth team in November 2021. I had a great care and love of animals growing up and wanted to foster this alongside administrative skills.
I studied Applied Animal Science with Therapy at Hartpury University and went on to study Business Management here in Plymouth. I have enjoyed incorporating both together to give great service to both clients and patients.
I grew up having dogs, cats, rabbits and horses but now I have my own lovely cat called Willow. She is the best girl and loves lying in her sun spots, having cuddles and being the best bug catcher around!
