Veterinary Surgeon: My name is Kirstin, I graduated from Edinburgh University in 2013, originally from Scotland. I have been with the South Shields team since 2017 now and am currently doing my certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice to gain an extra qualification which I hope to finish in August this year. In my spare time I enjoy training with my spaniel and any extra projects that take my interest!

I am a veterinary surgeon originally from Portugal. After my graduation I decided to work abroad. I travelled to Brazil and Belgium to gain work experience and then moved to the UK in 2013. I love taking care of and helping pets. In my spare time I like to cook, read and travel.

Hello, My name is Ania and I come from Poland. I have been a vet since 2002 and I graduated in Wroclaw University in Poland.
I came to England in 2017 and really enjoy living and working here. I love my work and I am particularly interested in dermatology and cat medicine.
I have a guinea pig at home but my dream is to have three cats.
In my spare time I like to read and go walking with my husband. I would really like to travel around the whole of Great Briton at some point in the future.

I’m Becky, I've been in Veterinary practice for 30 years!
Starting as a trainee nurse; working my way up to where I am today as practice partner.
Since 2008 Alyson and I have had the joy of meeting many of you and your pets, and establishing our "family" - the clinical team who help us, and you, in practice every day.

I’m Angela and I registered as a Veterinary Nurse in February 2018. I have an interest in cats and focus my further training round this. I have a rescue cat called Freyja. My other interests are my motorbike and long distance walking. Before Veterinary Nursing I had worked in the equine industry for 15 years; my last horse job was for a charity retraining and re-homing ex-racehorses.

My name is Megan, I started volunteering at Vets4Pets since leaving school in 2013, completed an animal management course and then eventually qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2018. Our team works very well together and became like a second family. I enjoy spending every day working with animals in my dream job, every day is different. I have an interest in exotic patients and also our golden oldies that sadly need a bit more TLC than the youngsters. When I'm not at work, I can usually be found looking after my ever growing zoo at home with 3 fish, 1 cat, 2 crazy spaniels and my rescue bunny. I love nothing more than being outdoors and active on walks or runs with the dogs.

My name is Tammie, I have always had an interest in animals from a young age. After leaving school at 16, I started working in a veterinary practice, qualifying in 1995. Since then I have worked in many types of practices including equine and emergency and critical care. I love all aspects of nursing. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, including my 3 dogs and 1 mad cat. I look forward to meeting you and your pet soon.

RVN

Hi,
My name is Sarah and I work as a VCA. My job in practice is to make sure all of our patients have everything they need for a comfortable stress free stay, I like to make sure they are happy and calm.
Working in an animal related profession is what I've always wanted to do. After working in pet retail for 17 years, I have realised my heart lies in helping animals that have problems or illnesses, so moving to a Veterinary Practice was perfect for me.
At home, I have a cat called Gypsy who is my little baby. I also have a corn snake, leopard gecko, gerbil, a tropical fish tank and several tanks of stick insects.

Veterinary Care Assistant Courtney McCormick
VCA

I'm Kay and have been with the team since 2009. I am currently the senior client care advisor, and also studying for a postgraduate certificate in Veterinary Business Management through Liverpool University. I have a GSD, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Chihuahua at home as well as 2 kids so never a dull moment! In my spare time I like to.........hang on, I have no spare time! :)

My name is Karen and I work on reception as a client care advisor, I have been working with Vets4Pets South Shields for almost 8 years. What I like about working for Vets4Pets is every day is different which makes it exciting, meeting our clients with their pets and the friendly atmosphere within the practice. I have a 6 year old daughter called Sophie and 1 year old golden retriever called Arlo whom we love dearly. When I'm not at work I love spending time with my friends and family.

My name is Sharon and I have been with South Shields Vets4Pets for almost 12 years. I enjoy working in such a friendly environment and meeting new clients and their pets each day. Every day is different here which makes it an exciting place to work. I have a 1 1/2 year old Cavalier King Charles called Cody who is the love of my life. He is such a character and keeps me fit and active each day. He does have a few health issues but my work family makes sure he is healthy and well when ever needed.

Hello my name Suzi, I work on reception as a client care advisor and have worked here for 6 years. I enjoy meeting new and existing clients with their pets.
I also like working with a close team of colleagues which support each other. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my son and my two dogs.
I also enjoy socialising with my friends and family.

I'm Bev, I work on reception as a Client Care Advisor and have done for 4 and half years. I love my job for many reasons but mainly meeting all the beautiful animals that come through the door, and getting cuddles from them and the great team spirit and support we give to each other. When I'm not at work I love spending time with my dog Betty who loves long walks along the beach.
Vets4Pets South Shields is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
