Meet the team
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in Italy in 1998 and after practising as a vet in Italy, I moved to the Middle East (Kuwait and Qatar). I have been working in the UK since 2011.
My special interests are all first opinion conditions in dogs and cats, along with ultrasound and orthopaedic procedures.
I graduated in Naples, Italy in 2015. After a training period in Spain and Italy, I moved to the UK for my next challenge and joined the practice in September 2017.
My interests include anything relating to veterinary medicine and I am currently studying for a Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine. My hobbies include travelling, music (I can play the drums), books and seeing a good movie!
I'm originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I came to the UK in 2010 and studied in the University of Glasgow. I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2015, then moved down to Essex to start my career, and have been here ever since! I joined this lovely team in January 2020.
I love my job, and I have a special love for surgery (it was why I wanted to be a vet in the first place!). I am currently doing a post graduate certificate in a small animal surgery.
In my free time, I enjoy going to the West End to watch musicals, playing board games, visiting National Trust sites, and keeping fit. I have a golden retriever, but they live with my family 6500 miles away!
I miss my family (and fur family) all the time, but have been lucky enough that everyone has been lovely here, making this my home away from home.
I graduated from university in 2013 with a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare.
I then volunteered at Vets4Pets Southend for 6 months as a Nurse Assistant, before progressing to Companion Care Chelmsford with a job as a VCA. I transferred to this surgery when it opened, started my nurse training and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in January 2018.
I have a Golden Retriever called Brody, two guinea pigs called Patrick and Petal, and a chicken called Fleur. I've been horse riding since I was 9 years old and love spending time with my friends and family
Currently on maternity leave waiting for baby number 4 to join the family in August 2020!!
I started working as a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) back in 2005 and joined The Vet Group in 2011 as a VCA in Basildon. I moved to the Southend Airport practice in September 2015. After a short break from November 2017 to April 2018, I am now back and studying to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I have 3 children and a dog called Buzz.
My hobbies are watching movies and doing arts & crafts with my kids
I qualified as a small animal hydrotherapist in 2014.
I joined the practice as a VCA in August 2016 and I started studying for my official VCA qualification in October 2017, which I have passed successfully! I am due to start my Registered Veterinary Nurse training soon.
