Meet the team
Dr Alex Campbell
Practice Owner and Veterinary Surgeon
BSc. BVSc MRCVS. (RCVS No: 6162252)
Sam Cunliffe
Practice Owner and Head Veterinary Nurse
BSc RVN (RCVS No: 6376884)
Sam gained her veterinary nursing degree from the University of Central Lancashire in 2007. After qualifying she worked in a busy charity hospital, where she gained a massive amount of experience looking after pets suffering common illness and those undergoing emergency surgical procedures. She then moved on to work as a theatre nurse in a busy referral centre, working alongside vets performing more complicated surgical procedures. Sam joined the practice as Head Nurse when it first opened in June 2013 and became a Partner in Feb 2015. While Sam enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, she has a particular love for surgical nursing, and also really enjoys all the less clean procedures: scaling grotty teeth, flushing filthy ears and cleaning up contaminated wounds. Outside of work Sam has a busy family life, including her crazy Labraderp: River, and enjoys crafting.
Ezgi graduated from Mehmet Akif Ersoy University In Turkey in 2023. She joined the practice in Nov 23 and is loving her New Graduate role. She is enjoying her surgery training with Alex and is keen to meet all of our lovely clients. She has 2 elderly hamsters living with her family in Turkey and is keeping an eye out for a new one to adopt in the UK.
Natalie joined the practice in September 2024 after graduating from the University of Liverpool. She is currently half way through her new graduate programme and is enjoying all aspects of the course. Currently Nat has no pets of her own but enjoys looking after her friends' and has a big soft spot for cats. Outside of work Natalie enjoys crochet, running, trying new things and travelling with her friends.
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in July 2024 and started at the practice in April 2025. I keep adopting elderly cats and currently have my own rescue Ragdoll called Tink! My favourite aspect of practice is medicine - working out what the problem is and coming to a diagnosis. I also love travelling and have solo travelled through Central America, and will be helping out at neuter clinic in Sri Lanka in 2026!

Alice joined Vets4Pets in May 2021 after completing her nursing degree at Myerscough in September 2020. Alice is our latest ISFM Cat Champion and enjoys working with all cats in the clinic. At home she likes spending time with her mischievous cat Pepper, whom she rescued in 2017. In her spare time she likes to read and spend time with friends and family.
Charley joined the practice in Oct 2019. She has a degree in Visual Effects and Post Production from the University of Bolton but soon realised that she preferred to work in the animal care industry. She has worked for Pets at Home as a store colleague for 4 ½ years and gained her SQP qualification prior to joining our practice. She gained her Veterinary Care Assistant qualification in 2021 and her Veterinary Nursing qualification in 2024. As an SQP she also prepares repeat prescriptions for many of our patients. Her home life is pretty chilled with her main hobby, reading science fiction novels.
Jade joined the practice in July 2019 after studying Animal Management at Rease Heath College. She completed her Veterinary Care Assistant course in 2021 and is now studying to be a veterinary nurse. Her big interest outside of work is shopping and socialising with friends. At home she has a crazy cockapoo called Harry and 3 cats. Mable and Gizmo are sisters and Grix came from the Cats Protection League.
