Hello, I am Iain, I am the head vet and joint venture partner here at Vets4Pets Latchford. After graduating from Edinburgh in 1994, I spent a few years in a large animal practice in South Wales before moving to Altrincham to take up a companion animal care position. From there it was a short move to open Warrington Vets4Pets in Latchford in 2012.
Since then it has been great to meet so many pets and their dedicated owners, with the practice growing in size over the years and I am proud to work with such a caring, supportive team.
At home I enjoy walking with Sooty, a border collie who has pulled me up many mountains and settling down in the evening with Swede the cat. My passion for rugby has had to change from playing to spectating, and I enjoy singing in an acapella choir.

I’m Laura and graduated from Murdoch University in Western Australia in 2008. Since then, I have worked in first opinion practice both in private practice and at a university, I have completed a Masters in infectious diseases and epidemiology and have a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice which focused on dermatology.  I love being a GP vet and really enjoy medicine, especially dermatology! I am happy to see all species from bunnies to Border Collies.  When I am not working, I love to get lost on the hills, enjoy travelling and exploring different countries and cultures and trying new foods.

I have worked in small animal practice since qualifying in 2008 and I now works part-time at the practice, alongside work as a lecturer at a vet school. I have two cats, Lenny and Jaffa. Lenny was a stray brought into the practice after he had been in a fight and I fell in love with him and took him home. He likes cuddles, fleecy pyjamas to sit on and food. Jaffa was hand-reared as a kitten then rehomed as an adult and has difficulty deciding whether he is a cat or a person. He likes eating cardboard, windowed envelopes and plants (none of these is recommended) and being near people.

I am  currently writing up a PhD on antibiotic resistance. I am also a Resident of the European College of Veterinary Public Health and sits on the Council of the Veterinary Public Health Association. Veterinary Public Health covers the interaction of non-human animals with humans and the environment.

In my spare time I like to go walking with friends and drawing. I also enjoys music and plays several instruments. This year I started learning to play the saxophone. My neighbours may not enjoy this as much as I do!

I graduated from the University of Nottingham and joined Warrington Vets4Pets in August 2023. Having seen practice here as a student I am now very lucky to work with such a fantastic team that have also been a big part of my training. Outside of work I enjoy stealing other staff pets to look after, exploring the countryside and eating lots of cake – especially coffee and walnut! My family is from Hong Kong so I am trying to brush up on Cantonese to help those clients who may need this.

Hi everyone, I am Julie and I'm the Head Veterinary Nurse here at Warrington Vets4Pets Latchford.

I qualified in 2007 with Iain as my assessor whilst working at my previous practice in Altrincham, and followed him here to help him set up the practice in 2012. Whilst working here I have since gained my Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing so I can ensure that I am using the most up-to-date and relevant information to help me take the best care of your pets. I have also trained a number of Student Veterinary Nurses, helping them to work towards their own qualification be become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN). Since we opened here we've seen the practice grow, with a much larger team than we anticipated back then, and a wonderful client base with some gorgeous and friendly pets.

I enjoy spending time with my family outside of work, which includes my 2 Labradors, Bruce and Selena which many of you may have seen at the practice during your visit to see us.

I'm Mya, one of the Registered Nurses here at Latchford. I joined the team in 2023 as a student and successfully qualified through the support of my colleagues (and loads of encouragement from you guys too!). I love being a part of the team and supporting both owners and pets every day. I have a keen interest in research and lab and am currently working towards a qualification in Behavioural Training. When I'm not at work I'm either sketching on my Wacom or seeing the latest new musical.

Hello, I’m Chloe one of the student nurses.

I first started working as a veterinary receptionist in 2021, and have since progressed onto veterinary care assistant and then student nurse.
I love working at Latchford Vets4Pets as we are a rabbit and cat friendly practice, and the whole team seem to truly love their work and believe in what we do.
In my spare time I love to read anything from horror to fantasy books. When the weather permits, I like to go up to the Peak District or Lake District for nice long walks. I spend the rest of my time with my two cats Dr. Acula and Frank Enstein, and two bunnies Annie and Gremlin.

I'm Shelby and I've been working in Veterinary since November 2023. I've done a variety of other jobs before this, including working in Costa, Odeon and hotels. A few months before starting to work at Vets4Pets, I realised I wanted to work with animals so I'm currently spending my time in work learning as much as I can about how the practice works and how it runs. Eventually, I would love to start working more practically with your pets. I have many small pets myself which include rabbits, hamsters, gerbils and rats. My hobbies include reading, playing games, going to fitness classes. A new hobby of mine is swimming, which I am currently having lessons for.

Vets4Pets Warrington is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, free on site car parking too!

The friendly team are on hand for any help and advice regarding your pet.
