I have been the owner of Wycombe Marsh Vets4Pets for 10 years now, taking the helm in September 2014 and passing all the domestic responsibility to my partner, Simon, to give me time to drive the business forward. The team at Wycombe Marsh is like my second family. My ethos is that we support each others' needs which fosters a happy working relationship . This is essential if we are to give our best to the clients and their pets. I am proud of the caring service we provide.

Outside of work I try to keep fit by walking with my dog, Ant, or jogging. I always have a book on the go and usually read for a while before bed.

The best thing in my life; my loving family

The worst thing in my life; computers and smart phones - hate them!

I was born and raised in High Wycombe. After graduating from Cambridge University in 2005, I have always worked in small animal practice. I have a particular interest in Feline Medicine including completing a certificate in Feline Practice in 2011. I joined the Vets4Pets team in 2015 on a part-time basis, and the rest of the time I’m kept busy looking after my two young boys.

I recently graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2024. I am originally from California, USA and moved to the UK in 2019 to pursue my veterinary degree. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2000 after starting my training at a Veterinary practice in Maidenhead in 1997.

Over the years I have worked in many different types of Veterinary practice and hospitals, including referral nursing. During this time I took a special interest in anaesthesia, surgical and intensive care nursing. In the last few years I have particularly enjoyed nurse clinics and supporting clients in the day to day care of their fur babies and building relationships with them and the practice.

One of my earliest memories at approx age 6 is of wanting to be a Veterinary Nurse, I love my job - every day is different. And although there are certain aspects that aren't particularly pleasant, such as being pooed on or bitten. I would not choose a different path.

When I'm not at work, I'm a busy mum of two boys and have my own brood of fur babies to care for.

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse  way back in the late 90's. During my   career I have also ventured into human nursing, qualifying as an ODP in 2007! I joined Vets4Pets in February 2020 following several years as Head Nurse at Crossroads Veterinary Practice  in High Wycombe. Outside of  work, I am a keen runner (having completed over 60 half marathons, and 4 London Marathons). I also enjoy swimming, and walking my two border terriers, Ronnie and Pippa who take up much of my remaining spare time.

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in Germany in 2020 and have been part of the Vets4Pets team since the beginning of 2021. Since then, I have been enjoying spreading my nursing wings and continuing to hone my skills in all areas of nursing- I couldn't choose a favourite even if I tried! Outside of work I enjoy looking after a very cheeky pony called Brandie, running and swimming, as well as playing my flute and clarinet in our local band.

I'm a Portuguese native, and completed my nursing degree in Portugal in 2011. I worked in a first opinion practice in Portugal from 2011-2015. In 2015, I decided to move to the UK, where while working in a first opinion practice in London I managed to obtain my RCVS registration. In 2019, I started to work at a referral hospital in the neurology department, as rehabilitation is one of my passions in the veterinary world. In 2021, I moved to another referral centre still within the neurology department. Then. in 2023, I started doing locum work for Vets4Pets Wycombe Marsh, where I fell in love with the team, so when there was a vacancy available, I joined the permanent team and love being part of the wonderful team of nurses.

I worked for many years with race horses in Poland. In January 2005, I came to England and worked with competition and riding school horses. In 2013, I started my adventure into the Veterinary world.

My first practice was in Reading and I worked there for 3 years and gained a lot of hands on experience. In 2016, I started work as a VCA with the possibility to train as a Veterinary Nurse in the future.

At home, my grown up son is still living with us, and in my free time I enjoy horse riding and spending time looking after my four gorgeous rabbits, Cynamon, Azelia, Malwinka and Oliver.

I joined the team back in June 2021 and little did I know I was going to start my veterinary nurse career just a few months later. I have been coming to this practice as a vets for my own fur babies for over a decade and never have I met such a supportive team ensuring that my journey into the veterinary world has been nothing but great!

I have many pets of my own including fish, guinea pigs, mice, snakes, a horse and my two dogs Roxy and Lincoln. Some of which are frequent visitors at this practice.

Taking care of our animals is such a big responsibility that it has always been a passion of mine to help educate on the welfare of our pets as well as supporting our amazing clients through the highs and lows that having a pet brings not only medically but also with behaviour.

I have always been told that if you love your job you won’t work a day in your life and this couldn’t be more true.

I joined Vets4Pets Wycombe Marsh as a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) in October 2023, and I couldn't have asked for a better team to be a part of. Outside of work, I love spending time walking my Spaniel, Cooper, and my son's dog, Rocky, come rain or shine. They have been familiar faces at the practice long before I joined the team.

When I’m not out with the dogs, you’ll likely find me curled up with a good crime or thriller novel, or enjoying quality time with my family, who are incredibly important to me.

Having worked  in the tourism and hospitality industry for over 20 years, I joined Vets4Pets at Wycombe Marsh late 2020. Being the loving mother of two Labradors, my passion for animals  has always outstripped any I had for the travel industry and it took the turmoil of 2020 to make me realise my  dream. Working with the loving Wycombe  Marsh team, Vets4Pets, the supplier, the amazing clients and of course the beautiful pets, allows me to thrive in an environment I naturally feel at home in
