Meet the team
I am originally from the United States and moved to Scotland to study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow. After falling in love with Scotland and my now husband, I decided I just couldn’t leave and made Glasgow my permanent home. I have worked exclusively in small animal medicine. I love working with wee furries and have a keen interest in surgery. I have a soft spot for sighthounds, especially greyhounds. I started working at Airdrie Vets4Pets in August 2023 and have loved meeting all our clients and their fur babies.
Outside of work I am kept very busy with my wee girl- dancing, baking, sewing clothes for her stuffed toys and loads of messy play. Additionally, I love the outdoors, particularly water activities like swimming, surfing, fishing, snorkelling, and scuba diving.
Jenny
Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2022 and joined the team at airdrie in august 2023. I enjoy all aspects of being a vet but especially surgery and getting to know all the clients.
When not at work I enjoy taking my family dog Buzz for walks and water sports like swimming and paddle boarding.
Originally from Birmingham, I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2000. I moved to Scotland in 2006 where I have worked exclusively as a small animal veterinary surgeon. I established Airdrie Vets4Pets in 2012 but left in 2022 to pursue other interests, while still keeping my hand in as a locum. I am handing over the reigns this year to our new team and as part of that transition I have joined them on a part time basis to help in continuing to offer a high level of service to all our Airdrie clients!
Outside of work, I now volunteer every week with the RSPB at their Loch Leven reserve, following my passion for wildlife conservation and I continue to enjoy the outdoors in whatever capacity I can, whether going away in our campervan or camping around the Highlands & Islands or climbing the Munros. I have also re-discovered a childhood love of building Lego sets!

Caitlin graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2018 and has a BSc in Veterinary Nursing. She joined the practice in May 2018 as a student RVN before qualifying in July of the same year. Caitlin enjoys all aspects of her role but has a keen interest in Schedule 3 Surgical Nursing, Anaesthesia, Medical Nursing and Wound Management.
Outside of work Caitlin likes to enjoy spending time with friends and family. She can often be found outside on dog walks but loves nothing more than being curled up with a good book and snacks.
Caitlin has two dogs at home - a Yorkshire Terrier X called Tallie and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Koda.
A word from Caitlin “I really enjoy my job at Airdrie Vets4pets. Our team is so supportive of each other and we all have mutual high standards when it comes to patient care. Having a team that you genuinely get along with makes the job a lot easier as we all know we've got each other's backs. Although we have all faced challenges over the last few years, our main priority is still making sure our patients and their owners get the best care.”
I graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a BSc Hons Veterinary Nursing degree in 2022 and joined the team at Airdrie VeI gts4Pets in January 2023. I have yet to adopt a fur baby of my own but regularly go back home to Manchester to visit my family dog, Ginny the cavapoo.
The best aspect of working at Vets4Pets Airdrie is being part of an amazing team and getting to know all the regular patients! ''
I joined the vets 4 pets team as Head Nurse in August 2023 I have over 30 years experience in vet nursing and enjoy all aspects especially clinics and theatre.
I am a failed greyhound fosterer to Cody who I then went on to adopt, I also rescue ex-commercial hens and I'm mum to three human boys.

Amanda started with Airdrie Vets4Pets in January 2014. She is a Registered Veterinary Receptionist after completing her BVRA course. She is also currently training to be an Animal Care Assistant with the practice.
When Amanda isn’t at work she’s at home with her family, as well as 2 dogs, 2 hamsters and 8 guinea pigs. She spends her time with them as well as gardening on her allotment, playing video games and taking part in local trading card game nights.
A word from Amanda “I’ve always loved my job at Airdrie Vets4Pets. The team are lovely and make it such a nice place to spend the day. Meeting lots of animals (especially the small furries) makes my day.”
Lynn Graduated with a BSc Hons Degree in 1999 from the University of Glasgow. After working as a zoo keeper for many years she joined the practice in May 2015. She started off as Receptionist and Animal Care assistant making her way up to Senior Client Care Advisor and has been Practice Manger since April 2022.
On her days off Lynn can often be found outside wandering the hills, bird watching, canoeing, running and even the odd game of golf. When it rains her favourite past time is knitting or crocheting with her feet up and a large Gin. That’s if she is not performing in theatre with her Amateur Dramatic Group.
At home Lynn has one black and white cat by the name of Mr Rupert Giles, Giles for short as all you Buffy fans will know. She also has a Goldfish called Wally and a Giant African Land snail called Sydney.
A word from Lynn “I really enjoy working for Airdrie Vets4pets. We all say it, but the team are amazing. We all look out for each other giving support and advice, making the practice a happy and friendly place to work and thrive. Our first priority each and every day is patient care making sure our pets and their owners get the care and love they deserve.”

When Catherine is not at work she can be found walking Bella the boxer and playing with her 2 rescue gerbils Bert and Ernie, to relax she loves to read and go for a swim.
A word from Catherine "I love working for Airdrie Vets4Pets as we are such a close team and really do support each other, i love meeting all the animals and their owners and giving them the best experience possible.
Jemma started with us in Nov 2021, she has previously worked in customer service & has an insurance background. Has completed the bronze award and currently going through the silver veterinary receptionist reward. Trained up on being an Animal Care Assistant.
When Jemma’s not at work you will find her, walking her Yorkshire terrier Holly & “Nephew” Charlie the Staffordshire bull terrier. Love’s a book and will happily spend all of her money in Waterstones.
A word from Jemma “I love working for Vets4pets Airdrie. You build relationships with your regular clients and it’s amazing to see when the dogs especially get excited coming in. We are all a close team and when the days are tough we all have each other’s back and you definitely feel the love and support”
