Meet the team

Aimi Glover
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
BVSc(hons) GPCert(SAS) CertAVP MRCVS

I qualified in 2009 from the University of Bristol, and worked as a small animal vet in the New Forest for a few years before moving back to a busy small animal practice near Bristol. My boyfriend Chris and I dreamed of having a smallholding and in 2019 managed to buy some land, so we’ve moved down to live the Devon dream! I joined Vets4pets Barnstaple at the end of October 2019.
I enjoy everything about my job as a vet, but have particular interests in Pain Management and Animal Behaviour. I’m pleased to be able to offer acupuncture to pets under my care, and love working with owners whose pets are stressed or nervous to make their vets visits more comfortable.
Outside of work I look forward to accumulating lots of lovely animals! I enjoy horse-riding and climbing with Chris, and am a rugby fan (and ex-player).

I qualified in 2014 from the Royal Veterinary College with a Foundation degree in Veterinary Nursing. I was born and raised in Barnstaple so I knew I would always be working locally – who could leave the area?!
Previously I have worked in a Small animal Veterinary Hospital so I have experience in all aspects of fist opinion nursing, including night shifts and emergency cover. My interests include Wound management and Pharmacology – if I’m not bandaging something I will be in the Pharmacy! Outside of work I will nearly always be with my friends and family, walking my dog or chilling out at home

I started working in veterinary practice in 2017 as a receptionist. Having completed a couple of years on the client care side of things I’m excited to progress with my career. I now have the opportunity to also start working with the patients that come to visit us, as a Veterinary Care Assistant here at Barnstaple Vets4pets. I then hope to go on to train as a Veterinary Nurse. At home I have 3 Weimaraners called Joules, Toby & Ella, and a horse called Ruby. I spend most of my spare time with my horse and enjoy walking the dogs with my husband Scott.

Lauren studied at the university of Plymouth and gained her Veterinary Nursing degree in 2011. She then went to work in a large mixed animal practice followed by a small animal practice in her home town of Penzance in South West Cornwall.
Lauren enjoys all aspects of nursing, but really enjoys bandaging and wound care, and has a special passion for teaching; she has been training students within practice for many years as well as teaching in a College.
Lauren is a country girl having spent her whole life living on the family farm, with her various animals, including her most treasured possession her horse Star.

My name is Judit and I am our Client Care Coordinator. I am from Hungary but I met my Devonian husband when we were both living in London, and this is one of the reasons I came to North Devon. I have a great passion for animals and it has always been a dream of mine to work in animal care.
My own fluffy squad includes 2 cats and 2 dogs at the moment but I am sure this number will soon grow. Coming from a HR background I am not just a help for my team in the admin procedures but I make a perfect pet cuddler as well for inpatients.
Vets4Pets Barnstaple is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
