We are open for essential care only
In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.
We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:
- If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
- Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
- Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
- We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
- If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.
We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.
Meet the team
I have always loved animals and wanted to be a vet from a very young age. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1999 and worked in a mixed practice for 1 year. I have worked solely with small animals ever since.
My areas of interest are Medicine and Emergency & Critical Care.
I have 4 chickens, Big Bird, Diana, Cheep Cheep & Goldie.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking and walking
I was fortunate enough that pets were always welcome in my family and I grew up looking after many different species from tiny hamsters to bigger guinea pigs, rabbits and of course dogs and cats. I soon realised I wanted to be a vet.
After graduation from Veterinary University in Czech Republic in 2011, I spent almost 3 years in a small animal practice in the south of Spain. I moved to the UK in 2014, mainly to improve and further develop my veterinary skills. I’ve worked for several small animal clinics since and I joined the friendly Vets4Pets team in Bishops Stortford in July 2019.
I was seriously considering pursuing a specialisation earlier in my career but I realised I enjoy the variety of a general practice more and prefer knowing my patients from babies to grey and stiff oldies.
I enjoy animal charity work too. I volunteered at and worked for the largest animal/spanish greyhound (galgo) shelter in the past and I am casually helping with a small cat charity Scratching Post in Waltham Abbey at the moment. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.
I qualified as an RVN in 1992 and have worked in small animal practice ever since. My interests are Radiography and Dental Care. I am a busy mum of 4 and have a menagerie of pets at home.
My name is Stephanie. I started on reception here but am now working towards a Veterinary Care Assistant qualification. I have always wanted to work in a veterinary practice and really enjoy meeting all the different people and their pets. I previously worked in accounts & payroll based roles so working here has been a big change but definitely a good one. I have always had pets and currently have Charlie, a Labrador x Lhasa Apso rescue, Church, a Maine Coon Cat, some Giant African Millipedes and a tropical fish aquarium. In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking the dog and listening to Music.
My name is Laura and I work a variety of shifts throughout the week and every other weekend. My family has a rescue dog called Rocko (who was too wriggly for a photo!) and have always had an animal of one species or other around.
I’ve always been passionate about animals, but the idea to work with them didn’t cross my mind until a couple of years ago when I started work in a boarding kennels and cattery.
I look forward to meeting everyone!
