Ultrasound
We are pleased to be able to offer ultrasound scanning in practice, which is a painless way to look inside your pet’s body to find out what’s going on.

Dental Suite
We have a dedicated dental suite that is fully equipped with a dental radiography unit. Enabling us to see below the gum line and identify and treat disease before it becomes a visible problem.

Laparoscopic Unit
We have a keyhole surgery unit and a fully trained team. This allows us to perform many procedures without the need for a large incision, promoting a faster recovery time and reducing post-operative discomfort.

Diagnostic Imaging Suite
We have a dedicated diagnostic imaging suite equipped with radiography, abdominal and cardiac ultrasound and ECG. Our team includes a certificate holder in cardiology with over 20 years of experience in imaging and scanning.

Advanced Surgical Team
We have an experienced and talented surgical team with a fully fitted surgical theatre. Our team includes a post graduate certificate holder in small animal surgery.

Meet the team

Amy grew up in the United States having trained to be a vet there, qualifying in 2001. in 2009 she made the journey “across the pond” to move to the UK and has practiced here ever since. She has been with the Vets for Pets/Companion Care group working in Milton Keynes for three years. She became a JVP when the surgery opened in 2013. As a resident of Bletchley she is thrilled to have her surgery in her own neighbourhood! Her main interests include preventative medicine and geriatric care. Her goal is to provide top notch customer service to each and every patient that she sees. She treats each pet as if it was her own and strives to give the best quality care to her patients and clients. In her free time she likes spending time with her fiancé, planting vegetables in her allotment, and travelling. Amy has two very naughty black cats at home, called Bubba and Poppy.

Huw graduated from Bristol University in 1996. He completed a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2001 and then went to work in small animal hospital in London as their resident Orthopaedic Surgeon for 5 years, amongst his other duties was to be in charge of treating the orthopaedic problems for the Metropolitan Police Dogs. Huw became a JVP at Vets for Pets Bletchley in 2013. At work Huw has a particular interest in surgery and orthopaedics, he also has an interest in minimally invasive surgery (keyhole surgery) for some of the commonly performed operations at the practice. Outside of work Huw is married and has 3 children and enjoys spending times with his family. He is also interested in outdoor pursuits and bushcraft and he also loves playing squash.

Hello, my name is Adriana and I am from the tropical island of Puerto Rico. I graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in the United States and registered with the RCVS in 2016. In 2017 I made the journey over to the UK and have been practicing under the Vets for Pets/Companion Care Group ever since. I love meeting new clients and their lovely pets. My main interests lie in preventative medicine, exotics and soft tissue surgery. For fun I love to practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu, travelling, camping, SCUBA diving and cooking. At home I enjoy hanging out with our lovely family dogs Bella and Billy, our two rats, Mabel and María and our tropical fish.

Hi my name is Doug. I have worked as a small animal vet for 15 years and have been based in the Milton Keynes area for most of that time. I enjoy all aspects of general practice work and have an interest in cardiology, diagnostics and surgery. I live locally in Bedfordshire and have two rabbits and a Flat Coated Retriever called 'Arthur'. He spends most of his time in mud and I spend most of my time cleaning up after him!

Alvaro is a Spanish Veterinary Surgeon. He graduated in 2019 in Madrid, and right away started a rotational clinic internship. After finishing this in December 2019, he stayed at and continued to work in the Veterinary hospital for another year. In December 2020, he moved to the UK looking for new experiences.
Alvaro has a kennel mix breed dog named Lava waiting for him in Spain.
In his spare time, Alvaro enjoys walking in nature and playing all types of sport.

Carolina is from Coimbra, Portugal and studied to be a vet in Lisbon for 6 years. After a rotational internship in her university’s hospital and another internship in Turin, Italy, she decided to move to the UK in May 2023 and started working with us here in Bletchley.
Her main clinical interests include gastroenterology, endocrinology and dermatology.
Carolina has a crazy Boxer with 8 years old back in Portugal.
In her free time she likes to travel, read and enjoy a good meal.

Hello, My name is Becca and I grew up in South Staffordshire and graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2023. After I some time travelling, then joined the team here in Bletchley in February 2024.
I enjoy all aspects of clinical work and love meeting new clients. I also have a particular interest in emergency medicine, diagnostic imaging and surgery.
At home I have a highly energetic Border Collie called ‘Tilly’ who now lives with my parents. Tilly loves long walks in the countryside and playing in the garden.
In my spare time, I likes swimming, running, travelling and anything that involves good food!

Hello, I'm Daniel and I am the Head Nurse and Practice Owner here at Vets for Pets Bletchley. I started at Vets for Pets Bletchley as a work experience placement. During my time here, I was offered to train as a student nurse. I then went on to become a registered veterinary nurse in 2017. I am particularly interested in wildlife and reptiles but I love meeting all animals. When at home, I enjoy spending time with my English bulldog Barkley.

Hello, my name is Holly and I am registered veterinary nurse. I started my animal career at a wildlife hospital where I helped care for all types of British wildlife and earned a level 3 diploma in animal management. After a few years I decided I wanted to help all animals and decided to become a Veterinary nurse. I qualified in 2019 and shortly after completed the advanced programme veterinary nursing for small Mammals. I have an interest in anaesthetic and exotic pets. When I'm not at work I love gardening and caring for all my pets at home, I have three cats, four rabbits, two snakes, two guinea pigs and fish!
I have worked in various places including large hospitals and small practices. I am now here at Vets for Pets Bletchley where I look forwards to meeting clients and all types of pets!

My name is Amber and I am a student veterinary nurse. I have been with Bletchley Vets4Pets for 3 years now and love seeing all your wonderful animals! Prior to working with Bletchley I studied animal management with the goal of training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. At home I have 3 crazy cats and a very fluffy bunny. I am a big lover of music and spend my time outside of work at music events with my friends. I look forward to learning more everyday in my role!

Tamsin can perform Orthopaedic surgeries such as fracture repair and Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease, and Soft Tissue Surgery such as Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome.
