Meet the team
I graduated from Edinburgh in 2015 and have been working as a small animal vet in Bridlington ever since. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but particularly enjoy surgery. In my spare time I scuba dive and spend time with my wheaten terrier called Norman. I also have a rabbit called Colin.
Alicia has been a vet since 2002 and has a keen interest in feline medicine and is currently studying ISFM Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour - as such, Alicia will help us uphold our ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic. Alicia is originally from Cornwall but has lived in Bridlington for over 13 years so may be a familiar face to many. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys walking her two dogs, Holly and Hazel, on the beach. She is very happy to join us at Vets4pets Bridlington.
I started nursing in 2003 and qualified as a registered nurse in 2006. In 2014 I gained a certificate in canine rehabilitation therapy, and can offer physiotherapy for your pets. I joined the vets4pets family in April 2018 and absolutely love it. I am one of the practices cat advocates, and I am currently studying Advanced Certificate in feline behaviour. Together we provide gold standards of cat care. I have a Lhasa Apso called Angel, a cat called Harry and four rats named Hodor, Podrick, Bron and Tyrion.
I have been working within a veterinary practice since 2008, and during this time I qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant and Joined Vets4pets in April 2018. I am one of the cat advocates within the practice and am very proud to have helped the practice to gain Gold status in cat friendly practices. I am currently studying to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the college of animal welfare, which I am loving. I have a miniature dachshund called Honey and a cat called Cooper.
I have over 8 years veterinary experience and over the years I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. I can hand on heart say I love my job, It is very rewarding and I get to meet lots of lovely people and their treasured fur babies. I am one of the first aiders and have just done a 3 days course with St Johns Ambulance. I have lived in Bridlington for 23 years now with my husband and two children, also we have a Lhasa Apso called Oreo. I would love to progress my carer with vets4pets and I am excited for to see what the future holds here.
I completed my Foundation animal management degree in 2017 at Askham Bryan College in York. I have previously worked in another vets and have come to Vets4Pets with the interest of training up to be a Veterinary Nurse in the future. I love working on reception as I get to meet lots of people and their pets. I have always been an animal lover and have a cat called Simba.
