Meet the team

Hi I’m Caroline. I joined the team at Vets4Pets Brighouse in September 2019, having worked at my previous small animal practice since I graduated as a vet in 2006. I enjoy all aspects of my job but have a passion for surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedic, and this led me to complete the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Small Animal Surgery) in 2013. I made the decision to move practices and join the team here at Brighouse not only because I wanted to take on a new challenge and progress in my career, but I was also excited to be involved in the continued growth and development of this fantastic Vets4Pets practice. I became a partner and owner of the practice in May 2021. I thoroughly enjoy leading our wonderful team and I am extremely proud of the excellent service and high quality of care we provide to both our clients and our patients.
When I’m not working, the majority of my time is spent looking after my two amazing little girls, and enjoying all that family life has to offer!

I’m Keith, the youngest of four sons, all of which are currently practicing vets, as is my father but who will be soon retiring. I grew up in Cheshire and qualified from Liverpool University in 1997. After a period of small and large animal practice I started full time small animal work in 1999 and have worked all over the UK since. In 2006 my wife Julie and I travelled across Africa and our first son Ollie was born in South Africa. After returning to the UK in 2009 and working in several large practices in West Yorkshire, both Julie and myself fell in love with the countryside and people of this region and decided at once to set up home, expand our family (Ollie, Amelia and Charlie) and start our own veterinary practice inside Pets at Home, Birstall. We then opened the Brighouse practice in late 2016. I love all aspects of my veterinary work, and have a particular interest in orthopaedic surgery, completing my Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2015.

Hi, I'm Daniela. I graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Iasi in Romania. I started working in the UK 4 years ago and joined the team at Vets4Pets Brighouse in 2022.
I enjoy talking to clients about their pets and helping them resolve any problems or issues they have. I like almost all aspects of small animal practice but have a special interest in soft tissue surgery and emergency and critical care.
In my spare time I like travelling, meeting new people, reading, walking and other outdoor activities when I get the chance.

Hello, I’m Seth. I am an American by birth and grew up just south of Canada in New York State, but have called the UK home since 2015. I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2020, and am lucky enough to have joined the great team at Brighouse. Prior to veterinary school, I was a professional zookeeper in two different reptile departments. I still have a keen interest in exotics, and while I am just starting out in practice I would like to eventually do an Exotics specialty. This area of veterinary care is often an under served one, and I am keen to help treat our less common patients when I can.

Hi, I'm Hazel. As a child, my love of animals predicted that one day I would work with them, to my surprise it would be as a veterinary nurse.
I started my training in 2016 at an independent practice and attended The College of Animal Welfare for 2 years and qualified in 2018 at the rip old age of 18/19, and it is fair to say that I have loved every moment. The variety of clinical cases, array of lovely patients and the emotional rollercoaster that this career brings certainly provides a fantastic feeling of job satisfaction.
At work I love pretty much all aspects of the job, even the gross and grubby bits! However I do like consults and I have a soft spot for misunderstood pudda cats!
I joined Brighouse in April 2019 and am loving working with a larger (brilliant) team and experiencing more advanced surgeries and meeting all your furry friends!
Outside of work I have a bicycle and motorbike obsessed partner and 3 cats - Tinky my 5 year old mischievous boy, Smokey my 13 year old 3 legged resuce and my newest edition, Izabelle a 13 year old fiesty Tortoiseshell.
I enjoy walking, cycling and working out. But I mostly enjoy watching movies, whilst indulging in a big fat takeaway!

Hi, I’m Liam. I qualified as an Veterinary Nurse in 2019. I started working in veterinary in 2014 as a Veterinary Care Assistant, since then I have worked at various practices varying from 1st opinion to out of hours emergency work in a veterinary hospital. I joined Vets4Pets Brighouse in August 2021.
My main area of interest is surgery and anaesthesia, as well as exotics. I have a particular interest in schedule 3 procedures and hope to expand on this in the future.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and running around after the kids and the dog. I also like to unwind with playing guitar, gaming, rally and martial arts.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!

Hello, my name is Grace. I joined the team at Brighouse due to the friendly , family feel it had when I first visited. I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse who thrives for the highest standard of care possible and I believe Brighouse offers this. I have worked in first opinion, emergency hospitals and referral practices. I love every aspect of my job but have a keen interest in medicine , anaesthesia and teaching - I hope to become a veterinary lecturer one day and teach the future nurses.
I live with my furry best friend - Henry the cat. He has a brain disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia which means he can be wobbly when he walks. He’s had this condition since birth so doesn’t know any different - I pride myself on giving him a very fulfilled life.
In my spare time I run my own dog walking and pet sitting business . I also love spending time with family and friends and volunteering at cat and hedgehog rescues.
I am very proud to be a registered veterinary nurse , especially here at Brighouse. I can’t wait to meet you.

Hi, I’m Charlotte and I joined Vets4Pets Brighouse in September 2021. I previously worked as a Veterinary Care Assistant at an independent practice for two years. I have always wanted to work with animals and I am excited to further myself in this career by training to be a Veterinary Nurse.
When I’m not working, I’m kept very busy with my pets, especially my two Rottweilers who I love to take on long walks. I also love reading, seeing my friends and family, and going on holidays.

Hi I’m Dayna. I previously worked as a VCA in a small independent practice for over two years. I joined the team at Brighouse Vets4Pets in October 2021. I have always had a passion for working with animals and couldn’t dream of a more wonderful career. I hope to further my career by training to become a registered veterinary nurse.
When I’m not working, I love to spend time with family and friends. I like going on drives, listening to music and going to the cinema. I also love dancing.

Hi I'm Vicky, the Practice Manager here at Brighouse. I moved from another sector into the veterinary world, however I've always loved people and animals so this job is a great combination for me!
I loved my dog Ebony very much; she unfortunately passed away in 2021 so I understand how difficult that can be, but I also remember all the amazing times we had together too!
I know the team here at Brighouse are amazing as I've seen how great they are with your gorgeous pets.
I look forward to seeing you all in the practice!

Hey I’m Chloe, I’ve been working at Brighouse Vets4Pets since May 2022 and I’m so happy I got the opportunity to join the team. My colleagues and our clients are so friendly and very welcoming, I can’t wait to meet all of you and your pets!
I’ve always loved working with animals and have always had a pet in the house since I was born. Unfortunately my family dog Marley just recently passed away, however it probably won’t be long until I have another pet in the house :-)
When I’m not working I love going out with friends and going to see my family.

Hi everyone! I’m Ciara, one of the Client Care Advisors at Vets4Pets Brighouse. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and my two gorgeous (and very mischievous!) cats Eddie and Evie make my love grow more and more. My family and friends call me a crazy cat lady! I also adore dogs and can’t wait to adopt a little fur baby one day. I can’t wait to meet you all and your pets!

Hi, I'm Olivia and I joined the Vets4Pets Brighouse team in July 2022. I'm really looking forward to meeting all our clients and their furry friends, as you can see I have my own four legged friend, Walter, a naughty mischievous wired hair dachshund. When I'm not working, my biggest passion is being out and about in the countryside.
Vets4Pets Brighouse opened in late 2016 and is led by Joint Venture Partners Caroline Stirk, Keith Leonard and Julie Leonard. The team are committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice.
