Meet the team
Having qualified as a Vet I now have had over 10 years experience in small animal practice dealing with complex cases. I have a special interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and I am currently studying for the Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and Orthopaedic to improve my skills and further my knowledge. I have a lovely cat, called Annabelle, who is part of the family.
I love caring for, and working with, animals and have in the past volunteered in Kenya where I looked after both domestic and wild animals.
I feel very lucky to have joined Vets4Pets Buckingham in April 2019. I am loving it here, the team is amazing and I am really excited to now be the owner of this fantastic practice..
I started my veterinary nurse training in September 2019 after joining the team as a veterinary care assistant back in April 2019. I love working with the Buckingham team who are all so knowledgeable but have so much fun at the same time.
I have a particular interest in inpatient care, looking after animals from admit through to discharge making sure their stay with us is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
I love meeting every animal that comes through the doors but I do have a particular soft spot for any sort of sighthound, due to having my whippet best friend Eddie at home. I can’t wait to meet all of you and your lovely animals whilst I embark on my journey to become a registered veterinary nurse.
I joined the team in July 2019. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002, after working in both small and large animal practices.
Animals have always been a part of my life, from rabbits and cats, to sheep, cows and horses. I knew from a very early age that I would have a career based around them.
Outside practice life I enjoy spending time with my young family and my horses, as I have a particular interest in equine behaviour, horsemanship and podiatry, having travelled back and forth to the USA in order to further my knowledge and education.
I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Nursing with theatre, anaesthesia and nurse clinics being some of my favourites, so with that I hope to meet you and your beloved pet sometime in the future.
Vanessa joined us at Vets4Pets Buckingham as a Client Care Advisor in August 2019, after 17 years working as a doctor’s receptionist in a local practice. She has swapped 2 legged friends for 4 legged, furry friends.
She enjoys meeting new clients and having cuddles with their pets, especially the new puppies.
In her spare time she loves to walk her adorable white cockapoo called Millie, you will always find her around Bourton Park.
She also loves to spend time with her family and friends and loves to be out in her garden weather permitting.
She is enjoying her new job, meeting clients and their pets and giving a warm welcome to you all.
I joined the Vets4Pets family back in July 2018 and I’ve never looked back. I love every day that I get to spend with your sweet animals and the journeys we go on with them.
When I’m not helping take care of your animals, I am spending time with my little dog, Riley, an absolutely bonkers Sprocker spaniel. I have a real love for all animals but an undeniable soft spot for spaniels.
When I’m not at work I’m either spending time with my family and friends, having a laugh. I hope to go on to become a fully qualified nurse in the future and following in the footsteps of our Head Nurse, Kirstin.
Vicki joined Vets4Pets Buckingham in January 2019 having previously worked at the Milton Keynes Vets4Pets for 2.5 years as a client care advisor. Before working at Vets4Pets, Vicki worked in a customer service role but decided she wanted to combine that with her love of animals.
In her free time Vicki enjoys spending time with her family.
