Hi! I'm Jenny and I am the Practice Owner alongside Laura here at Vets4Pets Burscough, and also the head Veterinary Surgeon. 

After graduating from the University of Liverpool I spent several years working as a mixed Vet in rural Wales, but then decided to concentrate on small animals.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, our two dogs Louie and Gypsy, and our tabby cat ChilliBonBon!

Hi, my name is Alice and I am a Veterinary Nurse at Burscough Vets4pets.

I started out working with animals by volunteering in local rescue centres but found my passion looking after animals in the Veterinary world. I did all my Student Veterinary Nurse training here at Burscough Vets4Pets so am delighted to be here full time now I am qualified!

At home I have two border collies called Max and Skye, as well as four crazy cats; Carley, Tigger, Polo and Kit :)

Hi I'm Ellie, a newly qualified RVN here at Burscough Vets4Pets! I qualified in July 2021 after completing my training at Burscough, and was so happy to be able to stay with the team as an RVN! I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know all your lovely pets :)

Hi, my name is Lottie and I have been working as a Veterinary Care Assistant since late May 2017, at Burscough Vets4Pets. At college I studied Animal Management at a diploma level and later went on to study both English Literature and Health and Social care. I have since worked in various roles within animal care and I am particularly interested in animal behaviour and evolution. As of September 2019 I have now started my training to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse!

When I'm not working I enjoy reading, crafts, spending time with family and friends, painting, drawing and caring for my herd of animals that include a Shih Tzu - Teddie, Siberian Forest Cat - Tatiana, Ragdoll - Diego, three rescue moggies - Vincent, Pablo and Frida, and a Corn Snake - Florence :)

Hey, I'm Elle! I have been with Burscough Vets4Pets since the beginning of 2021 as a Veterinary Care Assistant, and I am so excited to start my Student Nurse Training with Burscough in September :)

Hi! I'm Laura and I am Practice Owner alongside Jenny here at Burscough Vets4Pets, and also the Practice Manager.

I have a BSc. degree from the University of Chester in Animal Behaviour & Welfare - welfare and rescue being a particular passion of mine.

I have a rescue dog Arthur who you can see with me on my photo, as well as over 30 ex-battery hens, 3 rescue turkeys and around 10 rescue feral cats (who now are definitely not that feral anymore!). I also enjoy helping wildlife where I can, so I am the crazy one of the team who will help injured and poorly wildlife to get them well enough to release back into the wild!

Recently added to the family was little Gordon (aka Pog!), a Dalmatian puppy who was signed over to us at Burscough at 3 weeks old due to having a cleft palate. We fitted a feeding tube for a couple of weeks, and after a lot of TLC he is doing great! We plan so do surgery on his palate in the future :)

Hi, I'm Lucy and I am one of the Veterinary Care Assistants at Burscough Vets4Pets .

I love animals; I am a farmer’s daughter and I have been around all kinds of animals all of my life. I first studied Health and Social Care at Cardinal Newman College, and had a weekend job at Windmill Animal Farm which was an amazing first job! I couldn't imagine my life to be any different. I am hoping to carry on working with animals as long as I can, and hopefully next year will start my training to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse!

Hi my name is Yvonne.  I'm always at my happiest when surrounded by animals.  I started my working career in a boarding kennels before moving to a Veterinary Surgery.  I started my family and chose to have an extended break from my career. I have worked at Burscough Vets4Pets since it opened and I'm thrilled to be back in the environment where I feel I belong.

Outside of work I am the proud owner of Foz my Springer Spaniel, who you may occasionally see sat with me at the reception desk.  I am a keen gardener, always trying to create natural habitats for our fantastic wildlife.  Now my children have grown up and are at the stage of leaving home I have set myself a challenge of training so I can compete in a half marathon and who knows maybe even go on to do a full marathon!

I have worked for Vets4Pets for several years before joining the Burscough team in May 2018. I have a special interest in rabbits and strive to improve the welfare of rabbits.

At home I have rabbits, cats and hens, some of which are ex battery hens saved through the British Hen Welfare Trust who I also volunteer for. Outside of work, my hobbies include lots of travel, music concerts and collecting exotic poultry breeds. You may also have seen me on the 2018 Vets4Pets advert with my white cat JLo!

In July 2021 I decided to step down from nursing and move over to the reception team, so you will see a lot more of me out the front now! I look forward to meeting you all :)
