Kerensa Scott

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Kerensa qualified in 2000 and worked in mixed practice for 4 years here in Northern Ireland and also in Australia and New Zealand. She then chose to concentrate on small animal medicine and she opened the practice in 2011. Kerensa enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and is very focused on helping her clients keep their pets as happy and healthy as possible. She is also an active member of the veterinary community having been Chairperson of the NI British Small animal Veterinary Association and having sat on the board of Veterinary Northern Ireland. She frequently organises courses and conference for her fellow vets in the province.

She has a Belgian Shepherd called Chica who she loves to go on long walks with. She looks forward to furthering her nursing education in nutrition and radiography in the future.

Our newest team member Lisa brings a wealth of customer care experience from her 21 years in aviation and her love and welfare for animals make her a welcome addition to Vets4pets Carrickfergus.  Lisa has 4 cats 2 dogs 2 children and a husband which keeps her very busy.  She loves to travel and experience the local cultures.

We’re locally owned and run by Kerensa Scott. We opened our doors in 2011 and since then we have had the absolute pleasure of welcoming and treating thousands of wonderful pets.

From regular examinations and preventative care to surgery and x-rays, you’ll find our friendly vets in Carrickfergus are ready to deal with any pet problem.
