Meet the team

Michael Parry
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS

I qualified with BVSc Honours from Bristol University in 1986. My first job was in a small animal practice in Birmingham, but after two years I returned to the Bristol area and have stayed here ever since, working in a variety of small animal practices. I also spent a number of years, when my children were young, working in the editorial office of an international medical journal, based at Southmead hospital.
I love working in general practice. I particularly enjoy the variety of cases we see each day and meeting all the pets and their owners. I have an interest in ophthalmology, so like to examine eyes. I am also a registered Official Veterinarian (OV), which means that I am responsible for all pet travel documentation (pet passports and export certificates) for the practice.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and enjoy running and swimming. I also volunteer with StreetVet in Bristol and help out at the local Food Bank. I have an elderly tortoise who is very territorial – he chases and bites the feet of anyone who ventures into the garden!

I qualified from Bristol University in 2010 and have worked in small animal practices since then. I can’t pick a favourite part of being a vet and enjoy all aspects of my job. Outside of work I enjoy horse riding.

My name is Amy and I am Head Nurse here at Clevedon Vets4Pets. I graduated with BSc (Hons) from Bristol University and have worked in small animal practices since then.
I really enjoy nurse clinics, especially weight clinics, radiology and bandaging and I also do all the insurance for the practice.

Hi, I am Naomi and I am one of the nurses here at Clevedon Vets4pets.
I started working here in 2016 as a receptionist before making the move and training as a veterinary nurse.
My special interests while at work are radiography, ultrasound and helping with investigations for medical cases. Outside of work I enjoy helping my partner with DIY around our home and gardening. I have 3 dogs and a tortoise to keep me busy.

I’m Ellie, one of the student nurses at Clevedon Vets4Pets.
From a young age I have always wanted to work with animals and when growing up I was always surrounded by animals. Currently, I have a rough collie called Bella, and two rabbits which I adopted from Pets At Home called Betty and Lola.
When not at work I love cooking or spending time with my family walking the dog. My favourite part of work is helping throughout surgery.

My name is Helen and I have worked in practice for over 24 years. I run the puppy socialisation classes and have a degree in animal behaviour.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and running.

Hi, I’m Head Receptionist here at Clevedon Vets4pets. I joined when we opened in September 2015.
I’m also Vet Care Assistant trained and have an NVQ in Animal Care.
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I currently have two dogs, Mina & Loki but have also had cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, degus, chinchillas, rats, gerbils, hamsters, mice, tropical & cold water fish over the years. So pets are my passion!
I think the favourite part of my job is client/patient relations and seeing that fighter of a pet recover back to health.

Hi I’m April, one of the receptionists here at Clevedon Vets4Pets and I’ve been part of the team since 2017. I enjoy meeting all of our lovely clients and their wonderful pets and getting to know their different, individual characters. I always love having a cuddle with the patients and hope to make people smile.
I share my life with my 4 crazy, loving Staffordshire bull terriers and I also have a cute little guinea pig called Ivy.
Vets4Pets Clevedon is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
