Meet the team
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
I qualified as a vet in 2009 from the Royal Veterinary College in London. After working for a year as a mixed practice vet in Carmarthenshire, I moved to the South West to concentrate on first opinion small animal practice.
I especially enjoy the variety of general practice and meeting the lovely clients and their fur-babies.
In my spare time I enjoy baking, crafts and walking my old Springer Spaniel Beenie.
I joined the Clevedon Vets4Pets team in November 2015 as the part-time vet after becoming a mum.
I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2011 from Langford, Bristol.
I have worked at small animal practices since qualifying and I have also done emergency and out of hours work.
I have a ginger and white cat called Ed who I took home after he was bought in as a stray.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and baking.
I worked in the Pets at Home store downstairs for 9 months before moving across to the veterinary surgery.
I have always had an interest in working in the veterinary industry.
I have two guinea-pigs who are all rescues, a rabbit called Mr Albert Scruff who is also a rescue with a long term medical condition, a spur-thighed tortoise called Flora who is quite the escape artist. A Syrian hamster called Sir Reginald who loves mealworm, and 2 Bichon Frise called Bailey and Bella.
In my spare time I enjoy going on countryside walks with the dogs, cooking, gardening and DIY.
I have even started to train my hamster to respond to his name!
I have worked in a Grooming Parlour, in pet departments for Wyevale, as a Deputy Manager for Pets at Home and I'm SQP trained and I have an NVQ II in Animal Care.
My spare time is mainly taken up looking after my furry household, consisting of my cat Poppy, rabbit called Spud. chinchilla named Zeppy, and degu, Cadfael. I also have my little lady Mina, who is a Swedish Vallhund.
I love going on beach and country walks with her.
I like to read when time allows and I also like to see live music.
I have been working within the animal industry for 5 years.
I started by volunteering at veterinary practices, Bristol Zoo and abroad before working as a receptionist. I graduated from Warwickshire College in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) Animal Science and Health degree.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, travelling and cooking.
