Meet the team

Andrea, originally from Pennsylvania in the United States, graduated from Edinburgh University in 2018 and joined our team in Cramlington as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2020. Andrea is enjoying being in first opinion practice and caring for your pets. Andrea has an interest in cardiology, research medicine and pathology. At home she lives with a very naughty cat called Jingo.


Joanna qualified as a vet from Glasgow University in 1995 and joined the Cramlington Vets4pets team in 2020.
She enjoys all aspects of being a vet in general practice, especially the fact there is always something new to learn even after 25 years in the job. She is trained in Western Veterinary Acupuncture and uses this along with conventional medication to treat her patients, especially those with chronic pain. She is also an OV, enabling her to issue Pet Passports.
Her two terriers Ruby and Peggy love the local beaches, woods and country parks.
Joanna also volunteers along with her dog Peggy for the North East charity Wag and Company, and regularly visits a care home in Blyth helping to enrich the lives of the elderly people there.

Emma has been in Veterinary Practice since 2001, qualifying as an RVN in 2007 and joining our team in 2010 as Head Veterinary Nurse. In 2020 she became Joint Venture Partner when she purchased the practice following the previous JVP's retirement. Emma enjoys the practice management role, along with nurse clinics, and holds a certificate in Pet Bereavement Support. She is our Clinical Coach, mentoring our Student Nurses through their training. She also has an interest in canine behaviour and dog training, and provides Pet First Aid courses. At home she has two dogs, Cherry and Wilbur, and a few guinea pigs. Outside of work, Emma enjoys cooking, reading and cinema.

Amy has been in Veterinary Practice since 2001, qualified as an RVN in 2004, and joined our team at Cramlington in 2015. She has interests in surgery, theatre work and radiography, and also enjoys nursing clinics. Outside of work, Amy enjoys going for walks and picnics, and plays the fiddle in a local Ceilidh band.

Emma has been in Veterinary Practice since 2006, qualified as an RVN in 2010, and joined our team at Cramlington in 2012. She has interests and further training in radiography and diagnostics, and is working towards additional skills in Schedule 3 surgery. At home she has two dogs, Bronn & Brienne. Outside of work she enjoys baking, gardening and tending her allotment.

Vicki has been in Veterinary Practice since 2001, qualifying as an RVN in 2007, and returned to our team at Cramlington in 2017. She holds qualifications in Nursing of Exotic Species and dog grooming. She is our Radiation Protection Advisor, and has interests in radiography, patient care and particularly rabbit care and nursing. At home she has two dogs called Betty and Todd. Outside of work she enjoys art, reading, horse riding and dog training.

Katie has been in Veterinary Practice since 2015, joining us at Cramlington in 2019 as a Student Veterinary Nurse. She enjoys the variety of the role and being involved in all aspects of nursing including consulting & theatre. Katie has 3 cats, and enjoys travelling, holidays & spending time with friends.


Nat joined our nursing team as an Animal Care Assistant in 2020. She is currently studying towards her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification at college, and volunteers with a local seal rescue organisation. At home she has 5 rats.

Jude joined the team in January 2013 as our Client Services Manager, and is a key member of our management team. She previously ran a home boarding business for dogs. At home she has a Lurcher and two Boxers. Outside of work she enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym, reading, cycling and walking.

Felicity joined our reception team in 2018, and enjoys getting to know all our clients and their pets, and learning new things. At home she has 3 cats called Lady Binx, Sven & Junior, and a Staffie called Vito. Outside of work enjoys reading, crochet, crafts and 1950's fashion and culture.

Niomi joined our reception team in 2018, having worked in Veterinary Practice since 2014. She holds a level 3 qualification in dog grooming, and enjoys all the interaction with clients and their pets in the surgery. She has four dogs and two rabbits at home, and enjoys exploring Northumberland, cinema and live music.

Lisa joined our reception team in 2018, and enjoys getting to know clients and pets, especially seeing puppies and kittens growing up. At home she has three dogs called Ben, Bobby & Alfie, and 2 rabbits. Outside of work enjoys reading, walking and supporting her children's varied hobbies.

Tanya joined our reception team in 2018, and enjoys meeting all the clients and pets that come to the surgery. She has a cat called Martini at home, and outside of work enjoys music, film and bingo.
