We are open for essential care only
In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.
We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:
- If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
- Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
- Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
- We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
- If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.
We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.
Meet the team
Hello my name is Jurgita and I have always wanted to be a veterinary surgeon since I can remember. I have graduated Veterinary Medicine at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2014. During my studies I had amazing work experience in Ireland working at the equine hospital for 3 months and after graduation I wanted to try myself in zoo medicine so I have spent 3 weeks in one of the zoos in the UK, which was a fantastic experience.
I started my career in Wales working with companion animals and when I moved to the Wirral I worked with horses and small animals. After 2 years of working in the Wirral I decided that I am ready for a new challenge in my career and have joined this amazing team at Vets4Pets Rhyl. When I'm not working, I spend my time horse riding and training my two horses to do various tricks. I also love travelling and all the outdoor activities. I am looking forward to meeting you all.
I always wanted to be a vets since I was 8 years old. I studied at Bologna University in Italy and got my degree in 2002. I lived and worked in Israel and afterwards moved to the UK where I worked in First Opinion Practices and also Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Hospitals. I now live in the local area and have recently got married, at home we have a dog called Teddy and two cats Thelmo and Marmaduke.
Hello, I´m Jose. I´ve wanted to be a Veterinary Surgeon since I was 5 years old. I graduated in 2015 at University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). I´m from Huelva, Spain, where I worked for 6 months in a small animal surgery before I decided to move to Manchester to learn English and get a job as a Veterinary Surgeon. Finally Vets4pets Rhyl has given me the opportunity to join them, learning and improving my skills with such a great team. I have a dog called Mecha, she is 7 years old. In my spare time I like spending time walking with Mecha, going out with my friends and playing some instruments like clarinet, saxo, harmonic and ukulele. For me there is no life without animals and music.
Hello, I am Clàudia , I am a New Graduate who qualified in July of 2018 at the Universidad UCH-CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia. Vets4pets have given me the opportunity to join this amazing team. I have 2 dogs, a 12 year old Golden Retriever in Barcelona with my family and a 3 year old Border Collie here with me in North Wales. In my spare time, I like spending time with my friends, family and dancing or doing some sport activity.
2nd Year Student Nurse
I started at Denbigh in July 2019 and I have enjoyed every moment of it. Getting to see the animals and their owners as well as meeting new and existing clients. I have worked with animals since I was 13 years old, I started at a boarding kennels, went on to working at a farm which is where my interest in working at a veterinary practice came from. I'm currently on my 1st year Veterinary Nurse course and hopefully be qualifying in 2022. In my spare time when not studying I like to plan for my next trip abroad as I love to travel due to growing up in Europe and USA.
