Neil Corkill

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Read Neil Corkill bio

I qualified as a vet in 1985 at the University of Liverpool and have worked in a variety of types of practice. Initially, I worked in mixed practices until 1993 and started my own practice in Corby in 1994 where I remained until 2001. I moved with my family to Yorkshire in 2001 and have worked at a Vets4Pets surgery in Sheffield since 2012. My hobbies include scuba diving, running and being 'Dad's taxi'. I am also a qualified swimming official. I have dived all over the world including Micronesia, the Red Sea, Caribbean, the UK and Cyprus. When diving I really enjoy seeing big things, particularly sharks! Throughout my career as a vet I have needed to be a bit of a jack of all trades, but I particularly enjoy all aspects of surgery.

Hi my name is Siobhan and I am the Head Nurse here at Vets4Pets Dewsbury!

I have been working in Veterinary Practice since 2007 and very much enjoy every aspect of my job, but I do have a keen interest in ensuring the best start for puppies and kittens. I enjoy all nursing clinics and love meeting new people and their pets.

My whole working life has always involved animals and I cannot think of a job as rewarding as this one!

In my spare time I very much enjoy days out with my family and as a mother to one little boy we often have great adventures out and about with our 2 dogs Taylor and Pippa.

I very much look forward to meeting you at our new practice!

Hello! I'm Katie and i'm a Student Nurse here at Vets4Pets Dewsbury. I am a big animal lover and have previously worked at the Dogs Trust, on a farm, and at a boarding kennels and cattery.

I started working here as a Receptionist in March 2015, and began my Veterinary Nurse Training in January 2016. I currently own a rescued crossbreed dog called Paddy and a cheeky Cocker Spaniel called Breia - however i'm fast becoming a bit of a guinea pig fan and hope to adopt a couple in the future!..

The best animal name I have come across is Wonky Jeff! I love being a part of the team here at Vets4Pets Dewsbury and I look forward to seeing our lovely clients and their animals"

Hi, my name is Danielle and I am a receptionist here at Vets4Pets Dewsbury. I am also currently studying to be a Veterinary Care Assistant, with this I hope to not only greet the clients at the desk but help out our nurses in the back.

Outside of work I enjoy horse riding, then snuggling up to watch movies with my cats Chad and Madison. I also have a budgie called Charlie but unfortunately she doesn’t talk just yet.

I haven’t been in the veterinary industry for long but the best part of this job is seeing the variety of animals that come to the practice, and knowing each day is going to be different. I look forward to meeting you and your furry, feathered and scaly friends.
