Meet the team

Head Veterinary Surgeon

Read Thomas bio

After graduating in Ghent Belgium I moved to Scotland in 1995 and started working in mixed practice in Elgin Morayshire. Following a short spell down South in Bolton I moved back up North and settled in Perthshire in 2000. Having worked at Tower Veterinary Centre for long time I decided it was time for a change in 2017, and took on a role at Vets4Pets. As pets, I have a rescue Border Collie, my daughter’s Border Terrier and 3 rescue cats in my household. Outside work I enjoy dog-walking, football, and travel in Scotland and abroad when possible.

Read Vanesa bio

In 2007 I graduated from the University Cardenal Herrera-CEU in Valencia (Spain), and had the opportunity to do an internship in L'Oceanographic de Valencia, assisting the vets there with the park residents and rescued exotic animals. After graduation I worked for a period of time in several small animal and exotic practices in Spain, then I decided I wanted to experience different aspects of vet life and moved around Spain working with cattle, sheep and goats. In 2013 I finished my Masters degree and move to the UK in 2015. I started my journey with Vets4Pets in 2018 and had the opportunity to work with small animals and pets owners again. In my free time I like to walk with my rescued mongrel Vilma and riding horses.

Veterinary Surgeon

Read Lavinia bio

Hello there, my name is Lavinia, and I graduated from “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University in 2017. I am one of the most recent additions to the Dundee Vets4pets family! I first moved to the UK from Romania in October 2017. In May 2018 I started my first job in a small animal clinic in the Yorkshire area. Here I gained great experience, I met wonderful people and visited beautiful places. During this period I could not forget my first love, Scotland. I have a special interest in dentistry and surgery, but I also enjoy being a GP. I love my job, I love working with both pets and their owners, and I’m really happy to be part of such a great team. In my free time I love travelling, reading, spending time with friends and family, going to the gym, cycling and cooking. In the last few months I have focused on visiting new cities and countries, on reading personal development books and trying a new recipe every week.

Head Veterinary Nurse

Read Lynsey bio

Lynsey is our head nurse and she has worked with Vets4Pets for almost two years. She has been an RVN for 4 years after training in Suffolk. She has worked and volunteered with animals for the past 13 years. Lynsey has two wonderful rescue cats Arnie and Bella, and a lovely withdrawn Guide Dog called Quiz who often accompanies her to work! In my spare time I enjoy reading, dog walking and socialising.

Client Care Coordinator

Read Jackie bio

Hi, my name is Jackie and I have been with the practice as a receptionist since May 2018. One of the many perks in my job is getting to meet all kinds of animals. A lot of clients recognise me from working within Pets at Home over the past 8 years and to which I still do. It is great to be able to connect the knowledge I have gained working both in Vets4Pets and Pets at Home. I love all animals, I have 3 year old miniature schnauzer and would love to rescue another dog. (English Bull Terrier). In my spare time, I spend time with family, watch movies and socialising with friends.
