Meet the team
I graduated from University College Dublin in 2001. After a spell on Anglesey and a year in Leicester, I settled on the Wirral in 2005. I joined Prenton Vets4Pets in 2012. I felt the Vets4Pets way of doing things suited me quite well so I opened Greasby in 2014.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice and have a particular interest in feline medicine.
I have always had a love for animals and growing up with a variety of pets and attending horse riding lessons when I was younger made my decision that working with animals would be the perfect job for me.
I studied Animal Management at Reaseheath College and then went on to study BSc Animal Behaviour at Liverpool John Moores University. I have carried out a variety of work placements with domestic and exotic species working in kennels, catteries, dog groomers and zoos.
During university I completed studies on Ring Tailed Lemurs for my dissertation and I have also volunteered in the Butterfly House at Chester Zoo.
I qualified as a registered Veterinary Nurse in 2007. Since then I have worked in first opinion practices, referral hospitals and in an emergency out of hours hospital. My love of first opinion work and preventative care brought me to Greasby.I am a self confessed 'crazy cat lady' and as such I have completed the International Society of Feline Medicine certificate in feline friendly nursing.
I always wanted to work with animals from a young age, which led me to my first job at a local kennels and cattery after a work experience placement. I then went on to study Animal Management at Reaseheath College. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in October 2022 and joined the Greasby Vets4Pets team in June 2023.
I have my own fur pups at home including my cocker spaniel Ollie, a sprocker spaniel called Sadie and our rescue French Bulldog Lottie.
I joined Vets4Pets Greasby in April 2022 as a veterinary care assistant after a career change from psychology to animals. Since then I have grown in confidence and am now completing my Veterinary Nursing Diploma to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
I have grown up surrounded by animals, currently I have two goldendoodles, Teddy and Ivy, two Moggy cats, Hendricks and Juniper, and a very cheeky and loud turkish angora called Albus.
As part of my Veterinary Nursing course in University I undertook various placement blocks throughout the 3 years, some of which I did in Greasby Vets for Pets. After I graduated as a Veterinary Nurse in June 2024 I was offered a part time role in the practice, leading to being offered a full time role starting September 2024.
I have always loved animals from a young age after growing up with family pets and undertaking horse riding lessons; now I enjoy being able to work with them and love being able to get involved in the range of cases that we get in practice.
I have worked in the veterinary industry since 2004. I always knew I wanted to work with animals and specifically in a Veterinary Surgery. I love not knowing what will come through the door or what challenges you will face as they change day to day.
I joined Greasby Vets4Pets as Practice Manager in 2017 to help my husband Seán run the practice as it has grown from small quiet beginnings in October 2014 into the thriving practice we have today.
I started here part time in March 2019. I really love my job and have enjoyed getting to know our lovely clients and your furry friends. I have previously studied Animal Management at Reaseheath College. Outside work I like to read and spending time with my husband and our 2 daughters at our holiday home in Wales. We have 2 cheeky cats called Muggle and Mickey as well as 4 spoilt rats. I look forward to hopefully getting to know you all more over the years.
I joined Greasby Vets4Pets in 2022 as a technician carrying out non clinical responsibilities within the Practice. This role gives me the opportunity to gain the necessary skills required for my future within the workforce.
As well as working part time, I am also attending University and have my own pets at home.
Vets4Pets Greasby is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality first opinion care via a modern and well equipped practice. We aim to develop a long lasting relationship with our clients based on mutual trust and a shared goal of keeping the pets under our care fit, happy and well.
