Read Marian Crisan-Grozea bio

Graduated: 2011 in Romania
Joined the team: 2019

From a young age I had an interest in animal care. Having helped my grandmother in the country, I would accompany the village vet and assist him with her neighbouring animals. After leaving school, and through my studies, I was able to help out in a centre for street dogs. During this time I experienced handling and helping fearful dogs. I moved to the UK in 2019 and joined Companion Care Vets Portsmouth. More recently my wife has joined our sister surgery Companion Care Vets Fareham Park Gate.

Outside of work I enjoy cooking. My mother is a professional cook and loved to share her knowledge with me. In addition, my uncle is an aircraft mechanic, this triggered my curiosity and now I like to tinker with things. Whilst I was studying veterinary medicine I spent a year as a shopping centre clown so I often bring balloon animals into the practice for the staff; my daughter loves them too.
