I qualified at the University of Turin in 1993 and, although I like all aspects of veterinary science, I have a special interest in Soft Tissue Surgery and Oncology. I obtained a Master in Clinical Oncology at Birmingham University and I am really committed to increase the quality of life and life expectancy of my oncological patients.

I have been the owner and clinical director of Hertford Vets4pets since February 2015.

It is great working with this dedicated and forward thinking team.

I have a dog, Domitilla, who is 15 y old.  I enjoy mountain trekking in the Alps, travelling, studying history and watching football. Being from Turin, I obviously support Juventus.

I qualified from the University of Murcia (Spain) in 2011. Due to my passion for travelling, I decided to move to Edinburgh in a search of new experiences. It was there that I had my first contact with the veterinary profession. Since then I have worked for several years as a small animal practitioner in different areas of the UK before settling down in Hertfordshire. I enjoy all aspects of being a general practitioner with growing interests in ultrasound imaging and internal medicine. I always try to provide a high standard of care to my patients with a very dedicated client relationship. In my spare time, I like playing sports and musical instruments. I also enjoy cooking, and paella is one of my special dishes! I love spending time with my family, friends and our two cats, Binks and Dalí.

I started my veterinary nurse training when I was just 17 years old, then after a change in career I returned to nursing in 2008, finally becoming a qualified veterinary nurse in 2011. From 2013-2016 I was head nurse and practice manager. After maternity leave I began locuming where I found myself at vets 4 pets in Hertford, I liked it so much that I returned again and went on to accept the role of Practice manager. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting my husband’s family in South Africa as often as possible. We have one fur baby in our house which is Forest my ragdoll cat, and as you can imagine he is one pampered feline!

I started working at Hertford Vets4Pets in October 2018 as a VCA. I have always had a passion for animals since such a young age and my dream job was to work in veterinary care. Growing up I have always been around animals including horses which has been my hobby since I was 8. When I left school, I went straight to sixth form then from there I had a small pet care business and also worked with Greyhounds. At home, I have my rescue dog Honey and my horse, who is kept close to my house called Diago. He is an Arab which is a breed I adore- so much character and so beautiful. In my spare time, I love to take my dog on long walks and riding my horse. I also enjoy spending time with my friends. I am hoping this role will lead to me becoming a Qualified Veterinary Nurse in the near future.
