Veterinary Surgeon Job Opportunity
If you are a Vet looking for an exciting new opportunity, then we would love to hear from you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced vet to join our small animal practice in Hertford.
Meet the team
I qualified at the University of Turin in 1993 and, although I like all aspects of veterinary science, I have a special interest in Soft Tissue Surgery and Oncology. I obtained a Master in Clinical Oncology at Birmingham University and I am really committed to increase the quality of life and life expectancy of my oncological patients.
I have been the owner and clinical director of Hertford Vets4pets since February 2015.
It is great working with this dedicated and forward thinking team.
I have a dog, Domitilla, who is 15 y old. I enjoy mountain trekking in the Alps, travelling, studying history and watching football. Being from Turin, I obviously support Juventus.
I started my nursing career back in 2008 at the Royal Veterinary College, I graduated in 2012 with a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. I have had a passion for animals from a young age, starting riding lessons at 5years old and still have horses now. I gained an interest in Exotic animals when working as a Zoo Keeper after my A Levels, working with a wide variety of species. I have since gained a Certificate in the Nursing of Exotic Species. I also have a certificate in animal behaviour with a specific enthusiasm for canine/puppy behaviour and training. I joined Vets4pets Hertford in April 2022 as Head Nurse and am enjoying getting to know all of the clients and their fur babies. However you may not see me as I am often hidden out the back monitoring anaesthetics or looking after inpatients.
