Parking and access information
Parking your car is easy at our surgery. We have parking outside the front on Park Road, or on-site parking at the back.
Advanced services
We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other practices.
Orthopaedics
Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.
Meet the team
I am the Director of Loughborough Vets4Pets. I qualified from the University of Bristol in 2003 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and a degree in Zoology. I have worked in a variety of large and small animal practices across Leicestershire since qualifying and worked with cats, dogs, rabbits, cows, horses, sheep, pigs, alpacas, guinea pigs, chinchillas, marmosets and lots of other creatures. I started Loughborough Vets4Pets in 2013 and have greatly enjoyed working with the pets and people of Loughborough. I enjoy being a general practitioner and dealing with all sorts of pets and their different ailments. I do have a specific interest in treating skin and ear problems. And I have recently completed my post graduate surgery certificate and continue to increase my repertoire of complex orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. This means we can offer more solutions for our patients without the need for referral. Working in partnership and transparently with our clients, to identify the best treatment plans and care is very important to me.
I joined the team of Veterinary Surgeons in February 2018. I graduated from University of Nottingham in 2014 . Prior to starting my role at Loughborough Vets4Pets I have had previous small animal experience at other vet practices in the East Midlands. At home, I have a border collie called Beau and a horse named Gamble. My outside interests include going for long walks with Beau, dining out and eventing my horse. My special interest at work is general medicine and what I enjoy most working at Loughborough Vets4Pets is working up cases and the contact with clients.
I graduated from the University of Nottingham in July 2020. I have done several student placements at the Practice, so am already familiar with our processes and protocols and has been getting to know our clients and their pets. As part of my veterinary surgeon training I also completed placements in a variety of settings; first opinion and referral centres, covering small animal, large animal and equine. I like to spend my spare time horse riding, as well as driving carriage horses. And when not on a horse, I also enjoy running. My main interest at work is surgery. And I am also keen to develop my skills in diagnostic imaging and general medicine. I enjoy the varied caseload at Loughborough V4P and working as part of a friendly, motivated team.
Hi! I'm Shaily and I graduated from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in July 2023. During my years at vet school, we had the fantastic opportunity to train under specialists from various fields at a referral hospital. This paved the way for my main veterinary interests which are ophthalmology and internal medicine and I hope to specialise in them someday enabling me to bring that extra bit of care to your furry best friends.
Consulting is my favourite part of the job and I really enjoy working with the lovely team and meeting new clients and patients here at Loughborough.
Apart from my veterinary interests I really enjoy badminton, painting and music. I'm also a classically trained singer and ukulele player! On a day off, I love watching football and trying to cook new and diverse recipes or going for a walk in the beautiful woods of Loughborough.
I look forward to getting to know you and your fluffy companions :)
Hi! I’m Meg and I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in London in 2024. As part of my veterinary training I have completed placements at referral clinics, wildlife rehabilitation centers and mixed practices throughout the world. I have a keen interest in exotics and wildlife medicine and my favorite animals are Red Pandas! I also enjoy working up dermatology cases and expanding my medical knowledge whilst working with the wonderful team at Loughborough. Outside of the clinic I enjoy running, swimming and spending quality time with friends and family.
I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2024. I have a keen interest in surgery and cardiology and am excited to be part of the Vets4Pets Loughborough team and meeting lots of clients and their animals!
I have a 2 year old Dalmatian and enjoy taking him on long walks at the weekends. I have grown up with Boxers (they are my favourite dog breed!) so I am excited to meet all the boxers of Loughborough!
I studied veterinary nursing and practice management at Harper Adams University and qualified in 2008, and to date have had 16 years of experience working in veterinary practice. I have a special interest in emergency nursing and have obtained a certificate in emergency and critical care. At home I have a dog called Millie and a cat named Bella (pictured). Outside of work I enjoy making the most of my time with my growing family as well as clay pigeon shooting and cinema trips.
I passed my nurse exams in June 2023 and am now employed at Loughborough as an RVN. I really enjoy inpatient care especially with the small exotics like guinea pigs. I have a degree in zoology and I am very passionate about conservation. I have been known to take home injured wildlife, especially birds, and rehabilitate them. I love to travel which has included volunteering in South Africa with penguins and sea birds. It’s here I met a veterinary nurse that encouraged me into practice. I have a cat called Ned and in my free time I enjoy walking my dog, Oscar.
Laura joined our team as an RVN in October 2023.
Biography to follow
I graduated with a foundation degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2021 from Hartpury University. From 2021-2022, I worked part time in a veterinary hospital, as well as studying for my bachelor of science top- up degree. Shortly after graduating again, I worked in a local, small animal practice for 2 years, then joined Loughborough Vets4Pets in in August 2024. I love all aspects of veterinary nursing, but anaesthesia has always been something that interests me. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, spending time with friends and family, and going for walks and holidays with our Sprocker Spaniel Loki (pictured).
I started at Vets4Pets in August 2021 after finishing a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare at the Uni of Lincoln. After a year in practice as a Veterinary Care Assistant, I started my veterinary nursing training in September this year at bottle green.
I love all aspects of my job and although I am still learning about my specific interests and specialities, I love spending time looking after our ops patients in the kennels and seeing all the regular clients! I also find lab work very interesting. At home I have a family dog called Luther who is a Hungarian Vizsla who I spend lots of time entertaining! I enjoy travelling, eating out and spending time with family and friends.
I joined Loughborough in January 2024, I am an apprentice veterinary nurse training at Bottle Green college, and I am in my first year. I have worked in the veterinary field for 4 years, starting my career at Fosse Park as a receptionist. I then joined another vets4pets practice as a Veterinary Care Assistant before coming to Loughborough as an apprentice. In my role, I really enjoy interacting with our clients in nurse clinics and caring for their pets (our in-patients) in our hospital.
Out of work I enjoy spending time with my family, and our 4 cats, Loki, Odin, Binx and Pumpkin, going on long walks and holidays!!
I am the Client and Team Care Manager at Loughborough Vets4Pets and was brought on board to support Luke with the non-clinical aspects of running the Practice. I am married to Luke, the Director of the Practice. My role includes quality assurance management, dealing with and reviewing client feedback and complaints, health and safety, looking after the Practice team and dealing with staffing matters such as recruitment, inductions, practice protocols and supporting colleagues in accessing training and development in their roles. What I enjoy most about working at Loughborough Vets4Pets is being part of a great Practice team, and having an integral role in finding ways to continuously improve the business. My outside interests include keeping fit, dining out and going for country walks with my family and our new puppy, Drift.
I have worked in the veterinary industry for a few years, and joined Loughborough Vets4Pets Client Care Team in August 2021. I have lived in Loughborough for most of my life, and have a degree in BSc Animal Behaviour as I am very passionate about animals. I enjoy working at the Practice and being part of such a great team, of which I am the Mental Health Workplace Responder. Outside of work I have a cat called Smudge who enjoys waking me up in the mornings, and my hobbies include arts and crafts, reading and going on new adventures.
Helen started with the team in November 2023 and is in the process of training as a client care advisor on our reception.
