We’re still here for you and your pets

Whilst we are still only open for medically essential and emergency appointments (in line with the government guidelines), if you have any concerns about your pet’s health care needs, please don’t hesitate to contact us, to see how we can help. We now offer a range of services to support you and your pets - such as remote consultations and collection or delivery of some products if your pet is on our Complete Care Health Plan.

If you are visiting us, please note we are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe, so please respect the following social distancing guidelines:

  • If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
  • Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving at your local practice, you may need to wait outside until a member of the team invites you in.
  • Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
  • We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.

If you can’t visit us and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us and a member of the team can discuss available options. We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for the patience at this time.

BVSc BSc MRCVS

Read Luke Knowles bio

I qualified from the University of Bristol in 2003 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and a degree in Zoology. I have worked in a variety of large and small animal practices across Leicestershire since qualifying and worked with cats, dogs, rabbits, cows, horses, sheep, pigs, alpacas, guinea pigs, chinchillas, marmosets and lots of other creatures. I started Loughborough Vets4Pets in 2013 and have greatly enjoyed working with the pets and people of Loughborough. I enjoy being a general practitioner and dealing with all sorts of pets and their different ailments but I do have a lot of interest in treating skin and ear problems. I am also currently studying for further qualifications in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery in order to offer more solutions for our patients without the need for referral.
