Meet the team

I was born & raised in Romania, I studied veterinary medicine in Iasi, where I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in July 2016.
During university I volunteered & worked inside a veterinary clinic that mostly dealt with small animals, but I also had the chance to work with farm animals for a couple of weeks.
I've always loved animals and one of my dreams was to move to a country that would give me the opportunity to interact with as many animal species as possible. Fortunately this dream came true in 2017, when I was given the chance to join this team. I have also now become a clinical coach & help to train our student nurses.
Outside the work schedule, I enjoy visiting museums, old historical places, and when nobody is listening I really enjoy a good karaoke!

I was born and raised in a beautiful city on the sea in Sicily, Italy and I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bologna in October 2018. When I was still a student I had the opportunity to practice both with small animals in reference structures, and with large animals at various farms.
After graduation I had a volunteer experience at a small animal clinic in my home town, which ended when I decided to move to the UK to test myself in a different life and work context than in my country.
After only one month from my arrival in the UK I found what I wanted more than anything else, namely working with an adorable and professional team like Companion Care / Vets4Pets. My great passion is the clinic, with a particular interest in endocrinology, but I also have a strong passion for soft tissue surgery.
During my free time I love travelling, reading, and being an Italian I love cooking for my friends! But more than anything else, I dedicate my free time to Gina, my beloved little dog!

I was born & raised in Plovdiv, a beautiful a historical city located in south-central Bulgaria. I gained my masters degree in veterinary medicine at Trakia University in November 2017.
During my student years, I had the opportunity to gain experience as a trainee in several small animal practices in Bulgaria. I also had the chance to participate in 2 practical Erasmus exchange programs in Hungary and Slovakia. After my graduation, I worked in a small animal veterinary clinic in my home city for a year. Thereafter, I decided to move to the UK, guided by my eagerness to further improve myself.
I grew up surrounded by animals and my love for them is endless. I am particularly fond of rabbits and foxes. During my leisure time, I like to travel, and I enjoy walking in forests with my rescued Belgian Malinois Shepherd cross, called Ezo.

I was born & raised in Alicante, in Spain. I studied veterinary medicine in Galicia, where I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. During university, I volunteered & worked inside two veterinary referral hospitals of small and exotic animals.
I love to travel and meet other cultures and I have always loved the UK. Joining this team meant I could join my two passions by working as a veterinary surgeon in the UK. I am very interested in neurology, but also enjoy surgery.
Outside of work, I love to read, watch movies, and I enjoy playing tennis. I also have a rescue dog & rescue cat called Iker and Neus, and I love spending time playing with them!

After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2003, I started my veterinary career working at the Greater Manchester RSCPA Animal Hospital. It was here that I developed a passion for small animal surgery. After three years I travelled further afield, working in Queensland Australia. Along with pursuing my interest in surgery, it was not uncommon to be presented with more exotic creatures including fruit bats and opossums.
In 2014 I attained my MRCVS accredited certificate in Small Animal Surgery. Over the last 12 months, I have transitioned from an in-house surgical role in North Yorkshire to that of a mobile surgeon - this involves performing surgical procedures at a number of different practices throughout the north of England.
I have a keen interest in both orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical cases. I visit the Vets4Pets and Companion Care clinics regularly to perform specialist orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries.

I completed a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management at Halesowen College in 2011 & am now at Solihull College studying veterinary nursing. I have worked between our 3 clinics (Oldbury, Merry Hill & West Bromwich) since 2014. I feel very privileged to be working with such an amazing team of individuals & I thoroughly enjoy interacting with the clients and their animals, & maybe having a cuddle or two! I have a particular soft spot for larger dog breeds such as Saint Bernard's and Mastiffs. I volunteered in the equine industry for over 5 years before getting horses of my own - I currently own 3 horses & a naughty Shetland pony! I have also previously owned a wide variety of animals including rats, gerbils, and hedgehogs, but currently I have a black cockapoo called Milo, a French Bulldog called Poppy, 3 guinea pigs, and 4 ferrets! In my spare time I enjoy having a relaxing day down at the stables with my horses.

I am currently studying in the final stages of Veterinary Nursing at Halesowen College, where I have developed a particular interest towards hydrotherapy and physiotherapy. I hope to complete further training in these areas in the future.
I've always lived around animals growing up including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and lizards. Now I live with my pet husky called Marni, and hamster called Fluffy.
I have gained a huge insight of the Veterinary world here and enjoy it thoroughly, working between our 3 branches allows me to meet more clients and their pets which I always look forward to!

I have joined the Vets4Pets team after working for 7 years in the Pet Retail industry. I am a C-SQP and I completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management in 2012. I started studying veterinary nursing at Solihull College in September 2019.
Working with animals has always been a passion of mine and I am looking forward to learning more about veterinary care, with the aim of becoming a fully-qualified veterinary nurse.
At home I have two Bunnies called Harley, who is a Lionhead Cross and Lola, who is a Dwarf Lop. So a lot of my spare time is spent maintaining their shed and ensuring they have plenty enrichment to keep them occupied. In my spare time I also take the time to work on my Wildlife and Zoo Photography.

I recently completed A-levels in Biology, Maths and Art at Oldbury Academy, and have just started the veterinary nursing course at Solihull College.
Before starting as a student veterinary nurse, I was an animal care assistant at Vets4Pets. I have developed a passion for ferrets and geckos, as well as the love I've always had for dogs.
Throughout my life I have owned many animals, including several hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs. I currently live with my bichon Daisy, Jack-a-poo Poppy and hamster Fidget, all of whom I adore.

I have just started studying as a Veterinary Nurse at Solihull College and have been loving my time in practice so far! I am so excited to gain the knowledge and experience needed to be an excellent veterinary nurse and I am looking forward to handling animals I have never worked with before!
I have owned a variety of pets throughout my childhood and currently have a naughty 7 year old Yorkshire terrier named Bella. She is the biggest diva I know but makes me laugh every day.
I also love travelling to new countries and making memories with family and friends. I have seen some amazing places so far and hope to travel to Australia one day!

I previously worked at Pets at Home & during that time I gained hands-on experience with numerous animals, and completed several animal-related exams. This experience in the animal industry reinforced my natural passion for animals and made me want to pursue a higher level of training.
I am an avid video maker and most of my free time is spent making short films and videos. I'm also a huge football and boxing fan. I've always had a great love of animals which is shown through my large pet collection which consists of a Leonberger mountain dog, a Bengal cat, a rescue cat, two rabbits, two gerbils and a bearded dragon.

I graduated from the University of Northampton in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Applied Animal Studies, and then started working at Companion Care/Vets4Pets in early 2013. I am also currently studying for my Veterinary Practice Administration Certificate (VPAC).
During my time at the practice, I have been involved in a variety of roles - from reception to nursing - and I have now progressed to my current role as the overall manager of our 3 branches. My role largely involves administration duties, overseeing insurance claims, and the general running of the practice. I was present during the opening of both our Merry Hill & West Bromwich branches, and I am very proud to see their success and see all our happy, regular clients! I am always striving to improve the care & service provided to all our patients & owners.
I have a keen interest in dog behaviour & training. I have a particular soft spot for both spaniels and collies, and am also guinea pig mad! I have previously owned several spaniels & currently own a rescue dog called Molly who is a 6 year-old Springer Spaniel cross Collie (pictured with me here). I also own two rescue cats called Cleo and Merlin, a hamster called Chester, as well as a whole herd of guinea pigs!

I have been working for our practice since 2016 & I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. I have always been very animal orientated and aspired to work in the veterinary sector. Back in 2012 I completed a Level 3 diploma in Animal Management & I still look to develop further qualifications in the future.
I started my role in early 2016 as a receptionist; I wanted to grow further in the clinic and soon progressed onto Head Receptionist. After a short while, I started to gain more knowledge on administration duties, insurance and general practice running. By the end of 2017 I moved permanently to the Merry Hill clinic and took on the role of Practice Manager, which I thoroughly take pride in.
As for my personal life, I have always been surrounded by very much loved pets. I have two very handsome boys - one Syrian hamster named Fletcher, and Paprika the rabbit. We also have two family British Bulldogs - Stan who we rescued two years ago & Bailey whom we have had from 8 weeks old.
