I am the Joint Venture Partner and a Veterinary Surgeon here at the Middleton practice. Since opening the practice in 2014 I have enjoyed watching it grow into a great place to work, with many wonderful clients. I graduated in 2009 and started work as a vet in small animal practices. My journey with Vets for Pets started in 2011 and I knew then I wanted to become a Joint Venture Partner. Running my own practice brings many challenges, but the best part of being a partner is being able to run the practice with the support that I need which still enables me to focus on the clinical side and care of my patients. Overall, I think I am very lucky. I’m doing a job that I love, treating small animals with gentle, safe and effective therapies. I meet amazing, caring and inspiring people every day; people profoundly concerned for the welfare of the animal members of their families. Outside of work I am always researching and keeping up to date on what is new in Veterinary Medicine. I have a Japanese Akita called Hatchi and we love going for walks together. I also enjoy reading and love a good story.

I have always had a love for all animals and find that veterinary nursing fulfils all my ideals in a job. I love working in a caring team that puts animal welfare first. Nursing is a challenging job, but I enjoy the varied days and seeing all the cute patients grow.

As Head nurse I enjoy teaching students with the same care and passion for the job as I have. I like seeing them become great nurses and progress in their training.

At home I am active and have my own animals to keep me busy including a toddler! Walking, swimming and roller skating is a fun past time as well as fitting in seeing my friends and family. When I do get to sit down it will usually be at a sewing machine dabbling in bag making.

In the future i hope to continue to progress my knowledge and keep on improving the care I can provide for the patients.

My love of anything furry and long term passion to work with animals led me to change my career path when Covid first came around. I took the opportunity to study whilst on lockdown completing my VCA course in 2021 alongside volunteering here at Middleton Vets4Pets. I have remained at this practice since and I am currently a Student Veterinary Nurse.

I’m the first to go in for a cuddle with your dogs and cats, and always make it my priority to make them feel comfortable when with us.

My love of animals doesn’t stop at work, I have 4.. yes 4 dogs at home and a horse called Wilma.

I enjoy being outside with my 4 legged friends, either at the stables or off on an adventure with the dogs.

I have been with Vets for Pets since June 2017 and started my journey here as a Receptionist. I love meeting all of the clients and their pets each day, old or new I really enjoy being a part of their care. Each day always brings something new and exciting and it is always a pleasure to help everyone. My love of animals led to my choice of study in Animal Care and Animal Management at Hopwood Hall College, after college I worked in the retail sector for a while before coming back to the area I enjoy best. My beloved Shar-Pei Juke sadly passed away in 2020 and now I have four lazy British Shorthairs!

From as early as I can remember I have always loved animals and being around them as much as I could. I knew there was nothing else I wanted to do other than work alongside animals. I have studied Animal Care and Animal Behaviour. Working for vets for pets has not only given me the perfect opportunity to work with animals but to further my eagerness to learn more. I enjoy coming to work everyday and I love meeting the clients and all their pets. No two days are the same and I learn something new everyday. Outside of work I am always busy, I have two children, an American Bulldog named Boo, three cats named Angel, Theo and Finn and 2 rabbits named Gizmo and Jack. I love to walk everyday with Boo and spending time with my children, I do a lot of reading and I enjoy doing crafts.

I have always wanted to work with animals since I was little . I started volunteering at Vets for Pets in Middleton in September 2020 and then was lucky enough to start working full time from March 2021. I love working here and enjoy meeting clients along with their pets. I have two dogs of my own, a Saint Bernard cross called Bailey and a cheeky Cockapoo puppy called Jojo. In my spare time I love spending it with my family and going out for meals.

My first ever job was a groom at a stables, that's when I fell in love with caring for animals. Even though I've ventured off in different directions over the years, I always seem to come back to animals. I've been with Vets for Pets for a few months now, and I really enjoy building trusting relationships with the clients and their pets. I have a dog and a cat myself, so completely understand that our pet's become part of our family.

Vets for Pets Middleton is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!

The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
