We are open for essential care only

In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.

We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:

  • If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
  • Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
  • Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
  • We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
  • If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.

We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012 and shortly afterwards gained a scholarship at the world renowned Queen Mother Hospital for Animals, working as part of the Emergency and Critical Care Team and Intensive Care Unit. Since then I have worked at a small animal veterinary group in North London and have been working towards a further qualification in Advanced Veterinary Practice. My clinical areas of interest are intensive care, acute medicine and diagnostic imaging, although I enjoy all aspects of veterinary practice. Ever since Joe and I met at the Royal Veterinary College 1 years ago we have dreamed of opening a practice together and we are delighted to finally be in a position to do so. Our clinical areas of expertise and interests complement each other well and we aim to provide an exceptional level of clinical care across a wide variety of veterinary disciplines. We believe in providing the highest level of clinical care to our patients coupled with an unparalleled level of customer service and personal care to our clients. Joe and I played rugby together for many years, and while he still takes to the field, I've swapped my rugby boots for a cricket bat and a set of golf clubs! I have two dogs, "Watson" and "Doug", a three-legged cat called "Archie", a giant house rabbit called "Oliver", and a rather formidable chicken called "Bettie"! I love nothing more than a good dog walk finished off with a great pub lunch!

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College and have a special interest in small animal orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. Further to qualifying I have passed the British Small Animal Veterinary Association Surgical exams and was awarded a post graduate certificate in small animal surgery. This is an intensive three year course where Veterinary Surgeons are taught by Specialists to perform more advanced and technically demanding operations. We offer referral work for soft tissue and orthopaedics including TPLO/TTA/CCWO for cruciate surgery, fracture repair, key hole surgery and airway surgery (BOAS). In 2017 I was recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for our work in surgery and awarded Advanced Practitioner Status in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. I am presently studying for a second award in Advanced Small Animal Orthopaedics so as to offer our clients even more when it comes to their pet’s care.

Away from the operating table I really enjoy playing rugby. Dan and myself met on the rugby field fourteen years ago and I’m very excited to be owning a practice where I first began my veterinary career.

I also own a rescue cat called Cobweb who came to us from the RSCPA with a broken pelvis (now cured!) and a black Labrador Lyra who is always a welcoming face on reception at work.

I joined Vets4Pets in January 2019 as the Practice Manager for Abingdon, Oxford Botley Road and Newbury London Road.

I have previously worked as a Veterinary Practice Manager, a GP Practice Manager and also spent 10 years as a Human Resources Manager with over 800 colleagues to look after!

I am passionate about animals and have a mad young Australian Labradoodle called Kiwi and a cute, adored Syrian hamster called Brianna.

I love the amazing team at Vets4Pets. They care so much about every single patient and client experience and they are also great fun to work with!

The best part of the day is having cuddles with our patients – this is the best job in the world!
