Veterinary Surgeon

Read Connor O'Halloran bio

I am Conor O'Halloran, on of the senior vets at Vets4Pets Perth. I joined the practice in April 2016 as a temporary locum and loved it so much I never left! I graduated from Liverpool Vet School in  2015. Along with my veterinary work in the practice I have continued my university studies, completing and MSc and PhD. I enjoy all aspects of companion animal medicine and my specific area of interest (and research) is infectious diseases - particularly those that can spread between pets and their owners (and back again!). When I am not in the practice or the lab I am usually out walking my mischievous Welsh Terrier, Saffie along the scenic Forth waterfront where we live in Edinburgh

Prior to this, she worked at the Barony College and Pershore College in Worcestershire as an Animal Technician, where she cared for a wide range of animals including spiders, snakes, frogs, birds, pigs, goats and even Llamas.  In addtion, Flo worked as as a Veterinary Care Technician and Veterinary Recepionist at Abbey Green Vets in the Cotswolds where she first found her love for Veterinary Nursing.

In 2013, Flo travelled around Norway for over a year helping various farms care for a range of large and small animals and grow organic vegetables; she even built an entire boat out of wood and leather. In her spare time Flo enjoys re-enactment of Viking and Pictish history and travels to Norway each year to take part in Viking festivals.

When asked why she became a veterinary nurse Flo said ''I have had animals all my life, they are my greatest passion and I wanted a rewarding career where I could work with animals all day every day and contrubute in some small way to making a difference to their lives as well as being a voice for those who cannot speak. Veterinary Nursing is a vocation, not a job and no day is ever the same, I wouldnt want to do anything else''

I have only recently joined the team in July 2018 but feel so at home and love all of my amazing colleagues! I qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant in 2018 and am currently studying in Edinburgh to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, this is the career I have dreamed of since I was little! I have a passion for anatomy and love my exotics - I owned over 40 stick insects when I was younger! Saying this I am definitely a dog person and live in Glasgow with my little Lhasa Apso, Teddy. I have a soft spot for Labrador Retrievers and any puppy brought into the practice will get massively fussed over!

Client Care Advisor

Read Pauline Milligan bio

Hello, my name is Pauline. I started working for Vets4Pets in March 2018. I had previously worked in the catering industry and it may seem like a big change but our vet practice here in Perth has become a fast paced and busy operation just like where I was before. Working in the front line is very important. We get to know all the furry patients as well as their mummies and daddies. Unfortunately, my beautiful Labrador, Millie,, passed away and it has taken me a while to recover from losing her…but…I am very excited to say that we are having a new addition to our family very soon who is a Lhasa Apso called Ted.
