Meet the team
I’m Elena, one of the Veterinary surgeons in Vets4pets Portishead!
I am originally from Romania, I graduated in 2014 from the university in Iasi with bachelor degree and a masters in small animals. I have also worked with farm animals throughout my studies and continued working with them after! I moved to the UK in 2017 and continued working with large animals until 2018, when I then began working in a small animal practice.
Since joining the team in Portishead I have really enjoyed getting to know all of our clients and their pets! As well as seeing clients for consultations, I also have a strong interest in surgery and find it really rewarding and enjoyable.
I’m Becky one of the Veterinary Nurses in vets4pets Portishead 🥰
I started my animal based career in 2008 completing a level 3 distinction diploma in animal management. I then developed this further in 2010 to get a BSc Hons degree in animal science. I have worked in the veterinary world since 2013, starting as a receptionist and a veterinary nursing assistant. I then went on to complete my veterinary nurse training becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse!! I joined my vets4pets family in 2018. 🐾
I have been living with animals since my earliest memories, which has lead me to form very strong bonds with our furry companions! Like all kids, from an early age I have always wanted to help animals, cuddling with them whenever and where ever I could! Playing with my animal hospital toys and being glued to any animal programs on the TV, even creating my own imaginary vet practice! It was clear to me I only had one path to follow and that was to become a veterinary nurse. I love my jobs and all the pets I meet along the way, there really is nothing quite like it! I’ve also fallen in love with my own pets along the way! Adopting two cats, Watson and frank who are a part of my family.

I’m Naomi, one of the registered veterinary nurses in Vets4pets Portishead!
I am originally from Hampshire but moved to Bristol in 2011 to complete my degree in Veterinary Nursing and also in Bio- Veterinary science at the University of Bristol. Since I graduated in 2015, I have been working in small animal practices and I have loved every minute of it!
I love all aspects of being a vet nurse and getting to know our clients and their pets, treating them all as my own! You may not always see me out front as I mostly look after everyone out back during surgeries and theatres! Most of the time you will find me in the cattery giving all the cats cuddles to help them settle in! I have always had a strong love of animals from a young age and for me it was obvious there was one career for me!
Hey I'm Jazz,
I am a student veterinary nurse at vets4pets in Portishead!
I am currently studying to complete my degree in veterinary nursing which has always been a dream career for me! I have loved all the new challenges in practice learning and growing everyday! I love seeing all the new faces in practice, and looking after your pets as they were my own.
I have always grown up around a variety of animals and this has given me a love of all animals from snakes and lizards, to birds, cats, dogs and horses and so many more!
You may have seen me around practice with my dog Bailey! She is a British bulldog who we rescued last year!
I'm Rhianna and I'm the Practice Manager here at Vets4Portishead. You'll probably see me most at the reception desk chatting away to our lovely clients getting to know them and their pets. I stepped into the veterinary reception role when we first opened at the start of 2018 whilst I was studying for my diplomas in Canine Behaviour and Canine Health & Nutrition. I am pleased to say that I achieved both diplomas with distinction meaning that I also run my own dog behaviour clinics here within practice! I have continued to complete courses, study for certificates and attended conferences to keep my canine knowledge as up to date as possible.
I have a very keen interest and passion for dogs and getting to understand the reasons behind their behaviours. As well as helping owners and their pet dogs, I have spent time in Spain on two occasions to help the abused & abandoned dogs out there as well as volunteering here in the UK with a German Shepherd rescue.
Whilst I'm an avid dog fan, I just can't get enough of meeting everyone's beloved animals from fluffy, to scaly, to giant and tiny. I absolutely love working within the practice and welcoming every face that we see!!
I'm Danni, you'll often see me out front greeting everyone! I am a client care advisor in Vets4Pets Portishead. I joined the team after completing my degree in Animal science at Hartbury University. Since then I have enjoyed getting to know all of our clients and their pets!
In my spare time I enjoy getting out exploring with my Beagle Barney! I also have a chinchilla called Ollie who loves to keep everyone on their toes!
Hi I'm Riana!
I joined the Vets4Pets team here in Portishead in October 2020 after deciding to pursue a role that allows me to have more hands-on and first hand experience with animals. I am absolutely loving meeting all of the clients here and learning new things every day.
I have always adored animals and have enjoyed caring for them since childhood. Even now I have 6 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 2 hamsters, 2 geckos and 1 Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Sam!
I look forward to meeting you all and your beloved pets!
