Meet the team
Hi, my name is Maria! I've graduated from Lublin University of Life Sciences in 2013.
Since then I've been working as a veterinary surgeon in several veterinary practices, mostly with small animals. My specific professional interests include internal medicine of dogs and cats and surgery.
I'm delighted to become a part of Vets4Pets team and I really enjoy living in beautiful Lancashire. After work I like to spend time with my family and friends. I like socialising with my friends, watching horror films, travelling and cooking!
Hi my name is Francesca. I recently graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 2020. I also have a degree in Animal Science from Newcastle University. I have just started working in small animal practice and my interests include Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine and Small Animal Surgery.
In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and playing netball. I also have a Toy Poodle called Billy who loves going for walks down the beach and playing with his ball.
Hi, my name is Robyn! I grew up in Liverpool and achieved my qualification as a veterinary nurse in 2012. Since then I have worked with small animals and exotic pets. Being a veterinary nurse is a very rewarding career, I particularly enjoy nurse clinics. This gives me the opportunity of getting to know patients and clients very well.
We opened our doors in 2017 and we have loved meeting all our fury friends and their owners.
I have a little bulldog called Rolo, she is loved by all us and enjoys welcoming you all when coming for your appointments.
Hello I’m Christine and I have been in small animal practice for over 20 years. I am proud to work alongside such a dedicated team who have helped to develop Vets4Pets Southport after opening in 2017.
I have also achieved the International Society of Feline Medicine Diploma in Feline Nursing which has helped me understand our feline friends in more depth.
Unfortunately in May 2020, we lost our 13 and a half year old rescue Rottweiler, Lola. My love of rottweilers will remain along with so many happy memories. We also have a rescue naughty tortie called Chunks, who can be very demanding, and loud but we love her to bits with her quirkiness.
My name is Sam I am a qualified veterinary nurse, I have been working in practice since 2010 but I have been on the register since January 2017. I enjoy everything about nursing from caring for inpatients to conducting nurse appointment but I particularly enjoy working in theatre.
I have a rescue ragdoll called Joey and I have 2 rabbits Cindy and Mrs Snuffles. I enjoy working with all animals but I do have a soft spot for cats. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym and collecting vintage.
I have been a registered veterinary nurse since 2009. Since qualifying I have worked in a variety of settings from head nurse in a larger practice to a small village location. Previous to this I was a client care manager at a practice in Liverpool.
I enjoy meeting new people and their pets, listening to their funny stories and helping them to manage their pets health.
My interests include, surgery and anything related to creepy crawlies - mites, lice and ticks!
I have a cat at home called Dexter who chose me as his owner after turning up in my garden. He likes to hunt and bring my presents in reward for looking after him!
Hi, my name is Debbie and I have worked in a variety of roles within Veterinary Practice for 28 years. I am thoroughly enjoying being back in a part-time nursing role, meeting clients and providing care and advice for pets alongside studying for my Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy. Home life is very busy with 3 grown up children, 3 Labradors and my elderly cat. I am also a long-standing member of an Agility and Obedience Display Team and spend fantastic weekends with the team all over the country doing Displays that include jumping through fire!!
Hi, I’m Anna! I am a Veterinary Care Assistant here at Vets4Pets Southport and I am also currently studying a degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Liverpool.
My position here has given me the opportunity to interact with all of your lovely pets and gain lots of hands on experience within the practice. I have been able to get involved with our in-house lab which has helped me in my studies.
Outside of work I enjoy socialising with my friends and spending time in a university society playing Pool and Snooker, where I am a member of the Women’s First Team.
