We are open for essential care only

In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.

We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:

  • If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
  • Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
  • Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
  • We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
  • If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.

We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Biological Sciences with honours in Zoology I then trained to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and have recently qualified. I done my veterinary nurse training here and am happy to continue to work here now I am qualified. I enjoy the variety of the job as you never know what the day will bring and while this can be stressful it is very rewarding to see the progress a patient can make with treatment and nursing care. I find the diversity of cases very interesting and I am always learning due to the many different species and conditions we see. I have a guinea pig named Claudia. In my free time I enjoy crafting, spending time with friends and attending dance fitness classes.

Since leaving the car industry almost two years ago after being there for six years, working for Vets4pets has been a total career change. As you could imagine, being a pet owner yourself, working with animals can be the very rewarding. Although I’m not on the medical team, being first contact with the clients and pets lets me build a relationship with each individual. I have several pets myself, one being a puppy and she’s one year old. On my days off, I love going mile walks with her. I’ve been with Vets4pets for almost five months now and I couldn’t ask for a better bunch of girls to work with.
