Catherine graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2002 and worked in Yorkshire for several years before returning to Scotland in 2006. She has always worked in small animal practice and has a particular interest in small furries and exotics. With over ten year's experience she is delighted to be a joint venture partner at Vets4Pets Stirling. Catherine has two cats, Boris and Archie, a Border Collie, Ruaidhri, two chinchillas, two chickens and a tortoise. She also enjoys going for big walks with her husband and wee boy when she has the time, she also enjoys bellydancing.

Elizabeth qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon at the Royal (DICK) School of Veterinary Studies in 2004. She worked for 6 years in mixed practice and then decided to focus on small animals. Elizabeth enjoys all aspects of the job but her favourite main interest is surgery. Elizabeth spends her free time walking her Greyhounds Phoebe and Bo and spending time with family and friends.

One pronounced (on eh) graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2015.  One took on her first job in the sunny seaside town of Torquay.  After a few years she moved back to Scotland and we were the lucky practice that secured One as their vet.  One loves a dental and is the guru of all dental questions we have in practice.  As of last year, One is our clinical coach for Vet GDP, her sunny disposition and patience makes her perfect for this role. One currently doesn't have any pets of her own in Scotland due to her love of travel but is always the first to babysit all of our pets.

Sophie graduated The Royal Veterinary School in London in July 2021 and worked in V4P Stirling during her placement time. We of course jumped at the chance to have Sophie join our team as a veterinary surgeon in July 21 as she was already a much loved member of our team.  Sophie has many pets of her own including a Shadow her horse, 2 cats Levi and Ollie and Lola the Syrian Hamster.  Sophie loves consults in particular wildlife care.  Sophie's dream is to retire to Australia to be a wildlife vet dealing with emergency care.

Laura graduated Glasgow Vet school in 2016.  Her first job was in a busy small animal practice in Fyfe.  Laura joined the Stirling team in 2019 and we were thrilled to have her experience join our developing team.  Laura is a surgeon at heart and is at her happiest in theatre. Laura has Finn the Springer at home who loves a walk especially bagging a munro, he has many under his belt. In her down time Laura is at home spending time with her family.

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Biological Sciences with honours in Zoology Emma-Louise then trained to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).  Emma-Louise completed her veterinary nurse training in Stirling and was happy to continue to work as part of our team when she qualified. She enjoys the variety of the job, describing it as, "you never know what the day will bring and while this can be stressful it is very rewarding to see the progress a patient can make with treatment and nursing care."  Emma- Louise finds the diversity of cases very interesting and she is always looking for way to continue her learning due to the many different species and conditions we see. Emma-Louise has a guinea pig named Claudia, a Ragdoll named Ollie and a cocker name Indie.  In her free time, she enjoys crafting, spending time with friends and attending dance fitness classes.

Lanna joined the Vets4Pets team back in February 2014 as a receptionist. Since then, she moved to the medical team as an animal care assistant, moving on to train as a veterinary nurse.  Lanna qualified as a RVN in 2022. Lanna loves the medical environment and watching pets get better to go home to their families. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafting, relaxing at home with her partner and their menagerie (3 cats and a chinchilla!).

Lindsay joined Vets4Pets team in 2016 as a receptionist. After a year of working with the team she decided to begin training as a Veterinary Nurse with the College of Animal Welfare.  Since graduating as a RVN in 2019 Lindsay has taken on the role a Lead Nurse for the practice including clinical coach for student nurses. She enjoys caring for the patients and loves being a qualified Veterinary Nurse.  Lindsay is a qualified acupuncturist in small animals which she uses to help many patients with pain management.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her dog Arnie and going for long walks especially to the beach. She loves to bake ( which the team love) and enjoy spending time with her friends.

Rebecca came to Vets4Pets Stirling during her first placement for her Nursing degree.  Rebecca has qualified as a Registered Vet Nurse.   Rebecca has 2 dogs named named Nellie and Alfie, a  20 year old cat called Pat and a horse named Jazz.  I asked Rebecca what she likes to do in her free time and she gave me the list of her pets again.

After graduating from Stirling University with an honors degree in Accountancy, I started on a management career with Pets at Home. After 6 years with Pets at Home as an Assistant and Deputy Manager, I made the move to the other side of the vet desk to start with the practice in March 2013. I bought into the practice in 2018 to become Catherine's business partner.  My main areas of interest are in figures of course and human factors. I pride myself on leading a flexible workplace with human factors being at the heart of how we develop and manage our days. When I’m not at work, I am a Mum of two young children and two miniature schnauzers. I am a book worm and love art even although I can’t even draw a stick man.

Her favourite thing about practice is meeting all the lovely animals and spending time with my crazy colleagues!  Sharon said, "When I’m not in a scrub top, I’m at home caring for our 6 rats, a budgie and our dog Lulu."

Before joining Vets4Pets Jackie spent 6 years as a manager for a photo processing and dry cleaning company. Coming to the surgery has been a complete change for Jackie and one she embraced and has excelled at. She joined the team at Vets4Pets in March 2013, and says she thoroughly enjoy the job. Jackie said, "I love meeting new people and all their lovely pets." In the summer of 2016 Jackie was promoted to Client Care Supervisor, leading the team on the front desk. Outside of work Jackie enjoy spending time with her family and their dog Broch, they also adopted a wee cat called Sam two years ago, he is such a character. The whole family enjoy going out for long walks with Broch up the hills or along the river.

Emanuela joined Vets4pets in 2015 at the Perth branch, and then moved to join the Stirling team in 2019.  Emanuela loves ensuring that everyone who visits with us has everything they need to give their pet the best care. Her career has always been based in client facing roles and this shows in her interaction and abilities to make each person's visit bespoke to them.  Emanuela has a German Shepard Kea who she spends her down time with.  Kea loves a swim in the sea and they are often spotted on the Fyfe coast enjoying a splash.

Mhairi started as a client care advisor in the Linlithgow branch in 2018, she then decided to train as a Vet Nurse.  Mhairi started Napier university studying Veterinary Nursing in 2019 and came to Stirling in 2021 for a placement and while her joined the team as a CCA on her days off uni.  Mhairi has two guinea pigs Nacho and Pie who have been muses for some of Mhairi's uni work and the base for her dissertation. Mhairi loves to run (no really she does) and spending time with friends and family.

For the past 10 years I was a dive instructor abroad, living in Dubai and Sri Lanka, where I had two gorgeous pups Aliikai and Honey. Now back in Scotland I like to spend my free time wild swimming with my partner, playing rugby and taking my stunning little pup Poco on wee adventures.  I love seeing the variety of animals coming in and helping them get better.

At Vets for Pets Stirling we are committed to giving your pets’ great care. A team of 6 veterinary surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a support team of 7 in various roles, allows us to ensure we are able to give you the care that is bespoke to your pet’s needs.

Our practice is located inside the Pets at Home store in the Retail Park at Stirling. We have plenty of easy parking for you and of course a toy and treat isle for our brave patients. The practice is fully equipped with 3 consultation rooms, theatre, separate cat and dog wards, a lab, pharmacy, digital x-rays and ultra sound.
