Meet the team

Hi, I'm Jonathan, a recent graduate from the Royal Veterinary College in London. Working through a pandemic certainly isn't how I imagined the start of my career as a veterinary surgeon all those years ago. It's come with a fair share of challenges but I'm loving working with the great team here at Watford as well as getting to know our clients and their wonderful pets! I used to live in Essex but have relocated to Barnet following university. A lot of my spare time is spent with a very sweet epileptic stray cat called Hoops! I took her on at the start of lockdown and she quickly decided that she'd found her forever home. Working out is the only other hobby I have for now, but I used to love rowing, meeting friends at bars and travelling with my girlfriend.

Hello, I’m Charlotte. I’ve always had a love of animals and knew I wanted to work with them from a young age. I graduated from Middlesex University in 2012 as a qualified Veterinary Nurse and I have since worked in a number of large practices. I joined Vets4Pets in March 2017 as their Head Nurse. You will mainly see me for nurse consults, however I also care for your pets when they have to stay with us. At home I have two Guinea Pigs, Abra and Omi, as well as my hand-reared kitten Henry (at 10 years old I’m not sure I can still call him that!). I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Hi I’m Izzy, I have always had a keen interest in animals and I have owned many pets over the years.
I studied animal care and management at college and then went on to do a degree in Zoology. I hope one day to become a veterinary nurse. I have always worked with animals from a pet shop to a rescue centre.
I love my job and the animals and people I meet. My main interests are small animals and exotics.

My human is Emily, the vet, and I come to work with her every day. She claims it’s so I’m not left on my own, I say it’s so I can keep an eye on proceedings and make sure everything is ship-shape. I work on the principle that everyone loves me (who wouldn’t) and greet everyone with a bounce. I am the official treat tester to ensure only the best is stocked in the consult rooms and at reception. When I’m not checking that everyone is doing their jobs properly I can be found with my faithful chewy bone or practising my most elegant photo poses – on my back, legs in the air is my current favourite.

Hello!
I'm Lauren, I've currently been working in the Veterinary industry for over seven years. During this time I've learnt a lot, most importantly to make a team like ours happy all you seem to need is an abundance of chocolate and a large collection of hidden pens!
If I'm not at work, I normally try to keep my day pretty relaxed, but this always seems difficult with a 3 year old Domestic Short Hair cat called Minnie and a 7 year old Boxer called Cooper who aren’t happy unless they are up to no good.
People always ask why I enjoy my job so much, and the team I work with help but it's definitely got to be what seems like an endless supply of puppies and kittens. Puppy cuddles always make my day a lot brighter.
Well that's me, look forward to meeting you.

Hello, my name is Sarah.
I’m new to the veterinary world but have been working with animals since 2013 as an animal care assistant. My new role is very different but I have been enjoying learning more about the veterinary side of animal care, and furthering my knowledge of front of house client care. Whilst also loving meeting all our lovely clients.
I’m a proud owner of a gorgeous Staffordshire bull terrier who is the grand old age of 16 years old. Rosie isn’t aware she’s 16 years old, and still thinks she’s a puppy!
Vets4Pets Watford Century is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
