We’re now offering some vaccinations
In response to updated guidance from our regulatory body we are now carrying out some primary and booster vaccinations, where it is safe to do so and required or indicated for your pet’s welfare. If your pet is due their vaccinations please contact us for further advice.
Safe collection of medication available
We are now able to offer safe collection of your pet’s medication and flea and worm preventative mediations. Please contact us to find out more.
Meet the team

Graduating from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 1982, Steve has worked in many areas of the veterinary field including Universities, Charities, and the Armed Forces.
Steve is the Vets4Pets Woking practice owner, and a veterinary surgeon here too.
Outside of work, his family occupy most of his free time.

Graduating from the Royal Veterinary College, Alex joined our team in 2020.
With an interest in surgery, and in rabbit care, Alex's kind and professional approach has ensured he's settled in very well.
At home, Alex has two adopted rabbits, called Socks and Biscuit.


Originally from Middlesbrough, Ashleigh moved to Surrey after studying at Middlesex University/CAW where she graduated in 2017.
Ashleigh joined the Woking team in 2017 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, and since then has taken on the role of Clinical Coach for our Student Nurse, and also been promoted to Head Veterinary Nurse.
At home, Ashleigh has recently welcomed working Labrador Evie into her family.

Gemma graduated from M.Y.F training in 2011 and worked for Vets4Pets from 2006 - 2015.
After taking time to focus on other ventures, Gemma returned to the Woking team in 2019.
Gemma has two Burmese cats at home called Coco and Krunch.

Qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2013, Sheryl has undertaken various extra courses, earning a Bsc (Hons) in Animal Management, and studying behaviour, dentistry, anaesthesia and pet bereavement, as well as gaining a Certificate in Feline Nursing.
At home, Sheryl has a Romanian rescue dog called Bandit, an 11 year old collie-cross called Bobbie, and two cats; Rex and Evie.

Mel started with the team in 2018 as a Veterinary Care Assistant and then began her Veterinary Nurse Diploma in 2019.
Due to qualify in 2022, Mel is currently enjoying the tail-end of her studies at MYF Training.
Mel has an interest in animal behaviour, and at home has a cat called Mollie.


Emily has always been an animal lover, and began by doing a day-release Animal Management course from secondary school before studying Animal Management at college full-time.
Emily has worked in kennels and catteries, as well as grooming parlous and doggy daycare.
Joining us from the Byfleet Vets4Pets, Emily has fitted in well and continues her role as a Veterinary Care Assistant.


Gemma joined the reception team in 2016. Always happy to help, Gemma is busy booking appointments for you, amongst 101 other reception duties.
Outside of work, Gemma fosters dogs for charities and currently is caring for Oscar the Labrador cross. Gemma also lives with her 3 resident dogs; Rosie, Jess, and working gun-dog Murphy.

Jo joined the Vets4Pets Woking reception team in 2017.
By your side for every-and-all types of queries, Jo is on hand to help you get booked in and take care of you when you need us - From the little things to the big things.
Jo loves the bulldog breeds and has owned a British Bulldog, an American Bulldog, and now has a Fench Bulldog cross named Dottie.

Starting in 2019, Debbie joined the reception team part-time - working Monday's and Weekends.
At home, she has a Golden Retriever X Chowchow called Oliver, and a sweet ginger cat named Freddie.

Marlene is a self-confessed animal lover, and enjoys meeting and greeting all the animals that come into the practice, making sure they feel at home.
Marlene is a voracious reader, enthusiastic gardener, and loves rambling in the countryside.
She is also the proud owner of a mad ginger cat, Cuthbert (who thinks he’s a dog).

We are a highly trained team consisting of RCVS registered vets and nurses, dedicated care assistants, and friendly receptionists.
We offer on-site parking available for all customers and are open Monday - Saturday.
