Meet the team
Marian graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, Romania in 2005 and has previously worked in Bucharest at Veterinary Clinics as a veterinary surgeon and medical director. Marian enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, however his primary interests are soft tissue surgery, emergency veterinary care and diagnostic imaging methods. In his spare time Marian enjoys travelling and learning foreign languages.
Katia has just moved to Somerset from West Yorkshire. Katia qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2010 in Italy after wanting to be a vet since she was little. She has worked in many small practices in Italy and the UK. In Katia's spare time she loves to enjoy long walks with her Border Collie and daughters. She also has an interest in crystals and reiki.
David graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1995 and has spent his career working in mixed and small animal practices throughout the South West. His professional interests include emergency and critical care medicine, general surgery and a growing interest in veterinary acupuncture. In his spare time he enjoys cinema, travel and long walks with his Jack Russell Terrier, wife and two children.
Claire is the practice owner and clinical lead. She has over 25 years experience in veterinary practice. Amongst other certificates Claire also holds qualifications in veterinary business management and she is currently studying for her certificate in Advanced Medical Nursing. Her passions lie in emergency critical care and cardiology. Claire owns a horse, dog and cat and in her free time she enjoys fitness training, countryside and coastal walks.
Tori qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2014 and since then has worked in several small animal practices. She has a keen interest in surgical nursing and would like to study hydrotherapy in the future. Tori has a Springer Spaniel called Rupert and a Sprocker called Bumble who she enjoys taking on long walks and trips to the beach with her family
Tabetha is a qualified Animal Nursing Assistant and started studying to be a Veterinary Nurse at Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing in September 2021. Previously, Tabetha studied Art and Design and continues to be creative in her spare time. She enjoys going to gigs and travelling.
Emily started here in 2020 and has since qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant. In 2023 she began studying to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing. Emily has a rabbit called Tuxedo, two guinea pigs (Mr and Mrs Piggy) and enjoys travelling and flying hot air balloons in her spare time
Claire started nursing in 2004 and qualified in 2008. Claire has completed several certificates including ones for exotics and small mammals. Claire has many pets which include Olive the Collie, Terry the cat, guinea pigs, chinchilla and tortoises. Claire enjoys travelling when not working.
Abi started working with us as a part-time receptionist in October 2015 and since 2022 she has been our Practice Manager. Although Abi is very much office based, her favourite part of the job is being able to pop out and cuddle patients in-between paperwork. Abi enjoys travel, cake decorating, dog walks and spending time with her family. Abi has two Spaniels called Bailey and Charlie and a rabbit named Emma Bunton.
Natasha is currently studying to gain her Animal Care Assistant certificate as her goal is to one day be a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Natasha enjoys walks with her Golden Retriever and daughter, while also spending time at her families Shetland Stud Farm.
Belle started with us in May 2019 as a Client Care Coordinator. She has learnt many things whilst being here with the Yeovil team and is looking forward to progressing her knowledge further. Belle has two dogs, Molly & Rosie and a cat called Bertie and in her spare time loves taking them on adventures.
Claire started with us in September 2019 as a Client Care Coordinator. She is enjoying her role and learning new things all the time. She has a Springer Spaniel called Mango who she enjoys taking for long walks.
Emma started working with us in April 2024 as a client care coordinator. She is enjoying learning and experiencing lots of new things and is looking forward to meeting the clients and their pets. Emma has a cocker spaniel called Wilson who is known well at the practice.
