I graduated from Liverpool University in 2005 and then spent a year in a mixed practice in Dolgellau, North Wales before heading south to Cardiff to work for the UK's biggest animals' charity, the PDSA. While there, as I am particularly interested in orthopaedics surgery, I further studied to get a general practitioner's certificate in surgery. After meeting my wife, I moved up to Manchester and since then have worked in a number of practices around the North West. I wanted a new challenge and now this is the opportunity for me to open my own practice at Vets4Pets Altrincham. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, as well as snowboarding and kitesurfing: my favourite spot is Tarifa, in the South of Spain. We don't have pets at the moment but, having just bought a house, it's just a question of time.

Having graduated from Nottingham Vet School in 2017, I started working in a busy small animal hospital in Cheshire. I joined the Vets for Pets Altrincham team in April 2022. I have a special interest in surgery and spent time studying this area further, achieving the BSAVA Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. I love being able to help families look after their pets to give them the best possible lives. In my spare time I love getting outdoors as much as Manchester weather allows. It takes some encouragement getting my Whippet, Benny, out in the rain with me though!

Having been brought up on a farm in Lincolnshire and a keen horse rider I've always had involvement in animal care. My career in retail brought me to Manchester in 1997 where I have settled ever since. Working for Selfridges for 16 years gave me the valuable experience I have in Client care, team wellbeing and operational efficiency. Outside of work I run regularly with my two dogs, a Doberman Rosie and Boxer George. Movies and food are also up there on my list for down time.

I've worked in the veterinary profession for over 30 years, starting as a veterinary nurse for a large veterinary hospital in Cheshire. I then worked as an account manager for Petplan and then a large veterinary laboratory. My love has always been animals. I love walking my 3 dogs and going to visit friends and family. I am really enjoying working with Nathan and the team at Vets for Pets Altrincham. I love meeting the clients and their pets

I love being able to come to work and to be able to meet everyone’s pets. I come from a horsey background, so animals have always been a big part of my life and working with them what I have always wanted to do.

Vets for Pets Altrincham is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too.

We are proud to be an accredited silver cat friendly clinic. This means that we have met specific criteria from the International Society of Feline Medicine to help make visits to the vet with your cat an easier experience. We have a separate cat waiting area, a dedicated cat consult room and a separate cat hospital ward. For more information, speak to our friendly team.

We’re committed to clear, transparent pricing and regularly review our fees to make sure they’re fair and easy to understand.
