Amber is a keen surfer and loves to keep fit! Amber has been at the practice for a number of years now and recently became our wonderful Clinical Lead. She lives in Bridlington with her husband and their gorgeous Cockapoo Darcie

I started nursing in 2003 and qualified as a registered nurse in 2006. In 2014 I gained a certificate in canine rehabilitation therapy. I joined the Vets for Pets family in April 2018 and absolutely love it. I am one of the practices cat advocates, and hold an Advanced Certificate in feline behaviour. Together we provide gold standards of cat care. I have two Chihuahuas called Lenny and Louise, a cat called Harry, two rats called Eddie and Liam, a Gerbil called Winky, a Betta fish called Frank and a snail called Bucky....quite the zoo, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
I started working in veterinary practice in 2003 as a student where I gained my Animal Nursing Assistant qualification. I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2008. I've worked in both small and mixed animal practice, been a lecturer and a clinical coach. I enjoy all aspects of nursing but have a particular interest in small mammal medicine, feline and canine behaviour. In 2025 I became the practice's Head Veterinary Nurse.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and gardening and to help keep fit, I practice Brazilian Jiu jitsu. I have 2 cats called Nym and Odin, a rabbit called Bigwig and a Lhasa Apso cross Chihuahua called Neville.
I joined Vets for Pets Bridlington in 2023 and, in 2024, I qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant, in January this year I began my Veterinary Nurse training.
I live in Bridlington and have a dog called Oreo, four hamsters called Doug, Moo, Albus and Zeus, and a cat called Peanut.
I have over 15 years veterinary experience and over the years I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. I can hand on heart say I love my job, It is very rewarding and I get to meet lots of lovely people and their treasured fur babies. I am one of the first aiders and have just done a 3 days course with St Johns Ambulance. I have lived in Bridlington for 30 years now with my husband and two children, and we have a Lhasa Apso called Oreo. I would love to progress my career with Vets for Pets and I am excited for to see what the future holds here.
I began working as a Pets at Home as a colleague in 2016, to also now being a Vets for Pets Receptionist, with the interest of training up to become a Veterinary nurse in the future. Animal care has always been a passion of mine at work and home, with me having 7 Rabbits, 2 Guinea pigs, 10 Rats, 2 Gerbils, 4 Reptiles and my dog called Alfie.
Bev is a keen animal lover, and especially loves Zebras! She has worked with a wide variety of animals including Octopus and seals! Bev has lived all over the world but, luckily for us, has come back to Yorkshire and joined us in January as one of our wonderful Client Care Advisors.
Leah joined us in January as one of our fabulous Client Care Advisors, having previously worked in Pets at Home. Leah loves animals, keeps Betta fish, and has a Lhasa Apso called Ethel
Tasha is one of our amazing Client Care Advisors having joined us in 2025, she previously worked in Pets at Home. Tasha lives in Bridlington with her fiance, and has a big family including rats and reptiles!
