Stephanie Cheevers

Veterinary Surgeon

BVM BVS MRCVS

Read Stephanie Cheevers bio

Stephanie graduated from Edinburgh in 2010 and spent nine years working in mixed practice before deciding that small animals were her true calling. Now a dedicated small animal vet, she has a special interest in animal welfare and soft tissue surgery—so whether it’s a tricky procedure or just a patient in need of some extra TLC, Stephanie is always ready to help!
When she’s not at the clinic, Stephanie is surrounded by her own personal zoo, which includes five dogs, a cat, two horses, and—according to her—two children who occasionally behave like animals too. Whether it’s wrangling a playful puppy or negotiating with a stubborn pony (or toddler), Stephanie has mastered the art of multitasking!

She has completed extra studying and certificates in veterinary dental care and surgical nursing, and at the end of 2022 is starting a master's in advanced veterinary nursing to gain more knowledge.

She loves meeting and chatting to clients and taking care of their furry companions (and not so furry) when they aren't feeling well whilst also providing emotional support to their owners.

Sarah is a cat lover and has her own cat called Sushi who was her first hand rear, and a new addition a kitten called Oni who was also hand reared by Sarah. This love of cats has encouraged her to complete a certificate in feline nursing with ISFM. Whilst she loves all things furry she also has a crested gecko called Stitch and looks forward to increasing her knowledge in the care and treatment of exotics in the future.
