Advanced services

We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other veterinary practices.

Orthopaedics

Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.

I am originally from Chester and qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon at the University of Edinburgh in 2010. Following graduation, my first job was at a small animal practice in Wolverhampton which gave me experience in all aspects of veterinary care and ultimately I became responsible for the majority of surgical cases. In addition, I worked with the local greyhound track providing the veterinary care and emergency treatment for the racing dogs and the local retired greyhound trust, which is something I have a passion for.

With the expansion of the Pets at Home the opportunity then arose to become a Joint Venture Partner at Vets4Pets in Solihull. Whilst awaiting the opening of our new Solihull branch I worked for several local Vet4Pets practices providing experienced locum cover.

The most rewarding aspects of being a vet is helping clients on a daily basis and building long term relationships with pets and their owners. I have a keen interest in surgery (particularly orthopaedics) and I am currently finalising further qualifications in surgery.

I currently have a rescue cat called Garfield, who’s a character to say the least!

I graduated from Liverpool University in 2025 and moved to the West Midlands shortly after.
I enjoy all aspects of veterinary but in particular I enjoy doing surgery.
At home I enjoy reading and doing a selection of crafty hobbies! I also enjoy going on adventures with my little dog Dora and relaxing at home at the end of the day with my grey cat Saffy.

I have worked and provided locum cover in various small animal clinics over the West Midlands area ever since. I have a sweet but unruly Boxer called Humbug and a moggy called Lyra.

I have worked in the veterinary industry since 2011 and I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2019 - over the years, I have worked within charity hospitals and referral centres.

Cats are my favourite animals and I am passionate about promoting feline friendly principles.

Outside of work, I'm kept busy with my own cats and  dogs and I also have a tortoise named Ralph and a Royal Python called Reggie.

I graduated from Middlesex University in June 2024 and joined the team at Halesowen Vets for Pets the following month. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll usually find me in the consulting room carrying out second vaccinations, nail clips, and a variety of nursing appointments.

The part of my job I enjoy most is caring for our patients. Whether I’m looking after them during their stay with us, providing post-operative care, or helping them feel relaxed before a procedure, I love making sure every pet has the best possible experience. Building relationships with both our patients and their owners is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog, Maisie. We enjoy long walks together, especially in the woods or at the beach. I also have a cheeky Welsh Cob called Alfie, who loves heading out on hacks with his friends—or, more often than not, eating his body weight in the field!

I work part time here at Halesowen Vets for Pets, the rest of my time is spent working on a farm.

When in practice I can usually be found in theatre, I enjoy surgery and anaesthesia.

Outside of work I don't have much spare time as I also run my own livery yard, but I have a dog called Max, who comes everywhere with me and a cat called Katsu.

I joined the practice in February 2022 as a Receptionist and, after my first year, progressed into my current role as a Veterinary Care Assistant.
I love being part of such a supportive and caring team that helps animals every day. It’s incredibly rewarding to support both our patients and their owners, helping to make every visit as stress-free and positive as possible.
At home, I’m kept busy by my four cats and my rabbit, who make sure there’s never a dull moment!

I first began working at Vets for Pets at the start of 2018, where I was Practice Manager at Solihull. In 2019, I was given the opportunity to join the team here at Halesowen, and my time is now spent between the 2 practices.

I had spent the previous 11 years as a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. My main passion within this profession has always been for patient and client care, I now have the chance to really give the best care to clients as well as their pets, and still get to help nurse when needed.

I currently have 3 cats, and 2 dogs, which keep me busy. When not working
I enjoy the theatre and live music.

You will see me around the practice, so I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

I started working at Vets for Pets Halesowen in July 2023. I really enjoy working here with such a lovely, friendly team that are always there to help.

I currently don’t have any pets as I lost my beloved 16 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Ozzy at the end of 2023, but I always look forward to seeing all your wonderful pets in practice. I hope to get another dog one day in the future.

I love to spend time with family and friends, go out for food and visit lots of different places on holiday.
