Meet the team
I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2000 and have been working in small animal practices in Ayrshire since then.
I have been a partner at Vets4pets Ayr since 2011 and Irvine since 2017 and now excited to be a partner in Kilmarnock. I aim to provide an excellent standard of veterinary care to our patients and look forward to meeting you.
I enjoy all aspects of my work but have a particular interest in all types of surgery and rabbit medicine. Outside work I enjoy riding my horse Obi and relaxing at home with my dogs Blue a red collie, Beryl the merle collie, Harry the rescue cat and my ever expanding collection of chickens!
Hi, I'm Caolan! I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2011 and I’ve worked in Scotland since. I worked in mixed practice for three years before deciding to concentrate on small animal practice.
I have a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and I`m In the process of completing a surgical certificate.
I live in South Ayrshire with my Wife, daughter and two small terriers. Outside of work I enjoy hillwalking and mountain biking.
I originally worked for Vets4Pets in Ayr where I qualified from in 2014.
Since then I have worked at The Royal Dick School of Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh where I got experience in all areas of the hospital through ICU, surgical/medicine wards and exotics. I have also worked for local veterinary practices carrying out tasks such as monitoring anaesthetics, nurse consultations and patient care.
I then started locum work mostly around Vets4Pets surgeries which gave me a great insight into how each individual surgery works. I really enjoy running nurse clinics as I find them really rewarding and feel like it builds up a really good relationship with both clients and patients. At home I have 3 collies who I love spending time with and taking walks to the river for some fun.
Hi, I’m Georgina, one of four partners and the Business Director at Vets4Pets Kilmarnock. We’re proudly independently owned, and I run the Kilmarnock practice alongside my business partners, vets, Kirstin & Caolan and nurse, Marion. I’m also a business partner in our Irvine practice and work across all three sites, Ayr, Irvine and Kilmarnock.
I joined Vets4Pets Ayr in 2013 after returning from maternity leave, having previously worked in retail management for nine years. We then opened Irvine together as partners in 2017, followed by Kilmarnock in 2023.
I help support our brilliant team of 52 colleagues, and I feel very lucky to work with such a caring group who are so dedicated to our patients and clients. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our Cocker Spaniel, Kingsley (who definitely rules the house!), as well as my two cats, Panther and Pickle.
Hello my name is Pamela. I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2013 and initially started my career in mixed practice. Deciding that I wanted to focus on small animal I moved to Vets4Pets Ayr in 2015 and spent 3 years here. I moved from there to a busy charity hospital in Glasgow for 5 years gaining a huge amount of experience in emergency care and surgery.
I am enjoying being back in first opinion practice where I get to build relationships with clients and their pets. I have a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and emergency care and look forward to using my experience to help pets and their owners at Vets4Pets Kilmarnock.

Hello. I have just recently joined the Vets4Pets Team in Kilmarnock as Clinical Nurse Manager. I started my Veterinary Nursing Career over 30 years ago. I trained then worked in a local Mixed Practice, University of Glasgow, Small Animal Hospital, one of the very first Vet4Pets practices (in Bramley, Leeds) and for the last 20 years back at the University of Glasgow, Small Animal Hospital where I was Senior Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. Along the way I have gained further qualifications which have enhanced my knowledge and love for the job I do. Over the years I have witnessed the progression of Veterinary Medicine and how it has evolved to be able to help our much loved pets who become part of our families. I thoroughly enjoyed my job in the referral hospital but felt it was time to come back into first opinion practice and I am very happy to be part of a Vet4Pets practice again. I am looking forward to meeting all the Vets4Pets Kilmarnock clients and their pets.
Hi! My name is Megan and I am the Senior nurse here at Kilmarnock.
I really enjoy meeting clients and their pets at the clinic, and I find it so rewarding to see sick animals bounce back to health. One of my favourite parts of the job is monitoring anaesthetics and making sure our patients are safe and comfortable during procedures.
There's nothing quite like the feeling of seeing an animal recover and thrive after a tough time. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do!
Outside of work I like taking my little Staffy Lucy walks. We then like to spend the day on the couch watching our favourite shows.
I have been a nurse for 35 years now, worked originally in a single handed practice, mixed practice and finally a SA hospital in my hometown of Burnley, Lancashire.
I ran the nurse clinic inside the hospital for 20 years and finally made the long awaited move to Scotland 3 weeks ago hoping for a change of pace and lifestyle.
I have 2 grown up daughters, Mia 26 and Eve 21, an 8 year old Boston terrier called Betty and a teeny tiny 3 year old black cat called Creepy.
I love swimming, music and the adventure of outdoors. I play the piano and the drums and I have a couple of motorbikes to ride when the weather permits.
I was a dancer for 25 years but prefer to kick my heels up with friends and a glass of prosecco nowadays.
I am very much looking forward to the challenges of my new role at Vets 4 pets, and serving the people of my newly adopted town.

Hello, I'm Lisa. I recently joined Vets4Pets Kilmarnock as a Client Care Advisor in April, 2022.
I absolutely love animals. I'm over the moon to have started working with them as it has always been my dream to do so. As it is my first time in a veterinary setting it's all new but I am very lucky to be working with such a lovely / supportive team.
Outside work I love spending quality time with my family and friends. I have three kids who keep me on my toes. We have a cat, Amber hamster, Ruby and latest addition our puppy Millie who we love going on adventures with.
I am looking forward to meeting all the lovely clients and their furry babies!
Hi, Im Lynsey, I have been working as a Client Care Advisor since November 2023 and I'm really enjoying it. It combines two things I love, people and animals, although animals are my favourite.

Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some frequently asked questions. However, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly — our team is always happy to help.
1. Do you offer health plans for my pet?
Yes, we offer our Complete Care Health Plan. This plan helps cover your pet’s routine preventative healthcare, including vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and veterinary consultations, along with a range of additional benefits. It can also help save money compared to paying for these services individually, while spreading the cost conveniently throughout the year with monthly payments. For more information, please speak to our friendly team, who will be happy to help.
2. What healthcare services do you provide?
We offer a wide range of veterinary services to support your pet’s health and wellbeing throughout their life. These include veterinary and nurse consultations, routine and emergency surgery, laparoscopic (keyhole) spaying, ultrasound, digital X-ray, and a fully equipped dental suite. We also provide access to advanced services such as dermatology and orthopaedic surgery, alongside many other diagnostic, medical, and surgical treatments. Our experienced team is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care tailored to the individual needs of every pet. If you’d like a tour of the practice and facilities, please let our team know and we would be happy to arrange this.
3. When are appointments available?
We offer appointments for both routine and emergency cases six days a week, Monday to Saturday. Our opening hours are 8:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday, and 8:30am to 5:00pm on Saturdays. We understand that pets can become unwell unexpectedly, and our team works hard to provide timely appointments and support whenever your pet needs us.
4. When do I need to pay for treatment?
Payment is due at the time of treatment or consultation. To help spread the cost of veterinary care, we also offer Klarna as a payment option, allowing eligible clients to spread payments over three instalments or access deferred payment options.
Many pet owners also have pet insurance. In some cases, we may be able to arrange a direct claim with your insurance provider, meaning payment is made directly to the practice. This is subject to eligibility criteria, insurance checks, and a minimum claim value. Our team will be happy to discuss the options available to you.
Our friendly Kilmarnock team looks forward to welcoming you and your pets.
