Meet the team
My name is Sarah and I qualified from Liverpool Veterinary school in 1997. I have worked in a variety of small animal hospitals and have an interest in soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I have a number of dogs, cats, chickens and horses that I have collected over the years.
My name is Bernd and I am one of the Vet's at Selby. I graduated in 1991 and became a MRCVS in 1993.
My favourite part of being a vet is surgery, I particularly enjoy orthopaedics and more challenging cases.
At home, I have two dogs, three cats and two tortoises. I am also a bee keeper and enjoy tending to my garden.
Hello my name is Becky and I am one of the Veterinary Surgeons at Vets for Pets Selby. I graduated in 2011 and started at Selby in 2019. I love anything to do with rabbits and guinea pigs and have an interest in Ophthalmology. I have a spaniel called Finley who keeps me on my toes!
My name is Zoe and I am a Senior Nurse here at Selby. I have worked in Veterinary practice since 1999 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2003. I have worked for Vets for Pets since 2015 and moved to Selby from Hull in May 2018. I own a black Labrador called Logan and I have 2 children that keep me busy. I love my job and love working in Selby with our great team.
Hi, my name is Millie and I joined the Selby team as a Client Care Advisor in November 2022. In January 2024, I moved to the Clinical team as a Student Veterinary Care Assistant. I enjoy both roles especially meeting our clients and caring for our inpatients.
Out of work, I enjoy hiking with my two Border terriers Ivy and Murphy and regularly visit the Lake District to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Hello my name is Evie, I recently qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2022. I started at Vets for Pets Selby in Feb 2023, and have a particular interest in nurse clinics such as weight and socialisation.
I have 2 horses called Romeo and Plumb who keep me busy in my spare time, and a collie cross called Joules who loves exploring around the farm.
My name is Caitlin and I started at Vets for Pets Selby as work placement student in 2019. I am now in my final year of my Veterinary Nursing Degree and will be joining the clinical team as a full time RVN in May 2024. I have two dogs called Douglas and Lily.

My name is Clare and I am the Practice Manager and Head Nurse here at Selby. I started working in Veterinary practice in 1999 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2004. My time is mainly spent helping to manage our Clinical Team to ensure our patients receive gold standard care. I also enjoy assisting with emergency cases, looking after our geriatric and chronically ill patients and working with our local rescue centre.
Hi, I'm Steph and I am one of the Customer Care Advisors. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 13 years (unlucky for some!).
When I am not in practice, I enjoy travel, especially to mainland Spain. I can usually be found in a white washed pueblo drinking Sangria in the sun!
Hi, my name is Ethan. I have worked for Vets for Pets Selby since April 2024 and I am a Client Care Advisor.
The best part of this job is seeing the vast amount of different animals coming into the practice. I have two Hungarian Vizla's at home called Saffron and Indie.
In my spare time I enjoy singing and spending time with my friends.
Hi! My name is Cath, I have been an Equine Sports Massage Therapist for the past 16 years and have worked alongside the veterinary industry throughout.
For the past 3 years I have worked part time as Client Care Advisor in Practice, the team here at Vets 4 pets have made me feel really welcome. I love meeting customers and their pets.
