Meet the team
Wilbur has been our joint venture partner for 16 years and is highly experienced member of the team. Over the years, he has built strong and lasting relationships with clients and their pets, providing care that is both professional and compassionate.
He has a particular interest in dental procedures and takes great pride in delivering the highest standard of treatment. Dedicated to expanding knowledge, Wilbur regularly undertakes CPD across the world, ensuring he brings the latest skills and expertise back to the practice.
Brunhilda studied a Bachelor of Science degree and a Veterinary Science degree in South Africa. She has been living and working in Somerset for over 17 years. She has always worked in small practices and enjoys the homely feel of getting to know clients individually.
She enjoys general medicine and has studied a 2 year feline medicine course. She also has an interest in small mammals and dentistry.
Aaron graduated from the University of Bristol in 2024, spending some time with another first-opinion practice before joining us in 2025. He is a keen GP vet with particular interests in medicine, imaging, and feline-friendly practice. In his spare time Aaron enjoys strategy games, Sci-Fi books, and caring for his growing houseplant collection; while he doesn't have any pets just yet, he is very keen to adopt a few rats once he has the extra room to give them the space they need.
Beth is our dedicated Senior Veterinary Nurse, and you will often see her in consults carrying out weight checks and supporting clients with their pets’ health needs. With a special interest in anaesthetics, Beth particularly enjoys working in theatre, where her skills and calm nature and help ensure patients receive the very best care.
Outside of work, Beth loves spending time with her friends, family and her much-loved Goldendoodle, Rupert, who keeps her on her toes and always smiling.
Hannah began her journey with us over 5 years ago as a veterinary care assistant and has since worked hard to qualify as a Veterinary Nurse. Her dedication and continuous learning have made her a highly valued member of our team, and she is always keen to expand her knowledge and skills to provide the best care for our patients.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys long walks with her lively viszla, Vinnie, who certainly keeps her busy!
With many years of experience in the veterinary industry, Michaela has dedicated her career to caring for animals and supporting the people who love them. Her passion for animal welfare extends beyond her work—she is also the proud owner of horses, dogs, and cats, who keep life lively and fulfilling.
Outside of work, Michaela enjoys horse riding, a hobby that has been a constant source of joy and connection to nature. She is also a proud parent of three grown-up children, whose journeys continue to inspire her every day.
Bringing together professional expertise and a genuine love of animals, she strives to provide trusted support, compassion, and understanding in everything she does.
We’re delighted to welcome Kam, our latest Newly Qualified Veterinary Nurse. With strong clinical training and a genuine passion for animal health, he provides outstanding nursing support to our patients and clients alike. Away from the practice, Kam is involved in bat conservation, contributing to vital fieldwork and public education about native bat species.
I am a qualified veterinary nurse with over 20 years’ experience working across both small animal practice and referral settings. Throughout my career, I have developed a particular passion for anaesthetics and for running efficient, well-organised clinics, always striving to provide the highest standard of patient care.
Outside of work, I am a busy mum to one child and share my home with two cats. I enjoy weaving, spending quality time with my husband and son, and unwinding with walks along the beach.
For the past 13 years, Dan has been a welcoming presence at our front desk. He is dedicated to making every client and their pet feel comfortable from the moment they arrive, and he values the strong relationships he has built with so many families over the years.
As the main contact for insurance claims and related queries, Dan is always happy to guide clients through the process and provide support when it’s needed most. Whether it’s greeting you with a smile, helping with queries, or offering reassurance, Dan is always ready to support both pets and their owners.
George joined the Vets for Pets team in September 2022.
He can be found either on the front desk meeting the clients or out back helping with the animals.
His favourite animals are dogs as they have unconditional love. Outside of work he enjoy music, travelling and drag shows.
He has two dogs and a cat, his favourite part of the job is being able to be hands in with the animals all the time. Plus not one day is ever the same
Sarah has been part of the team for 7 years and is one of the friendly faces you will see at the front desk when you arrive. Known for her bubbly personality and welcoming nature, she always makes clients and their pets feel at ease from the moment they step through the door.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as caring for her many pets – including two dogs, three cats and even a millipede!!
Dee has been part of the team for 3 years as a veterinary care assistant. She particularly enjoys caring for patients during their stay, carrying out lab work, and continuing to expand her knowledge in all areas of veterinary care.
At home, Dee loves spending time with her much-loved pets – two ragdoll cats, Stanley and Stevie, her rescue dog, Bones, and her leopard gecko, Morrissey.
