Meet the team
Hi, My name is Josh Woolwick, I'm the Veterinary surgeon here at Preston where I've been working since May 2017. I studied at Bristol Vet school and graduated in August 2012. I spent time working in Derbyshire before moving across to Preston. I have 2 dogs called Rufus and Busby, 4 rabbits and 1 guinea pig. In my spare time I like to take the dogs out and avoid them causing trouble and go climbing.
Hello! I graduated from the faculty of veterinary medicine Bucharest, Romania in 2007. Since then, I have worked in a small animal practice until 2017 and then moved to the UK with my family and cats, Schtutz and Schatzie.
My interests are soft tissue surgery and dentistry. In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis and meeting my friends.
I joined the Vets4Pets family back in 2013 a Receptionist and have since progressed to the role of Head Nurse. I have been here at Preston Vets4Pets for the past year and have enjoyed getting to know you all and your furry little friends. My passions are dentistry and also supporting our numerous students through their studies.
I have a cheeky cat called Zelda, and a sassy cat called Eevee who both certainly keep me on my hind-paws ;)
Hello , my name is Helen, the senior nurse at Vets4Pets in Preston. I have worked in the veterinary field for many years now and have enjoyed every second of it! I have spent some time in an emergency veterinary hospital as well as in small animal practice.
I have only been with Vets4Pets for a short time but I look forward to meeting all of the lovely clients and pets. In my spare time I enjoy camping with my pooches in the camper van, walking the countryside and studying for my veterinary emergency and critical care certification.
Hi , my name is Paige and I am a newly qualified veterinary nurse at Preston Vets4Pets. I joined the team back in November 2017 and just over a year ago transferred to Preston from the Capitol branch. After qualifying in August 2020, i decided to undertake the BSc Honours degree also in veterinary nursing at Myerscough College to further my knowledge and expand my job role. My main areas of interests following on from this are diabetes, weight and pain management.
In the future i do hope to do an anaesthesia certificate and to undertake a course specialising in oncology.
I also have a 5 year old Labrador called Harvey, who keeps me on my toes..so the majority of my spare time is spent adventuring with him!
Hi I’m Karen, I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse over 20 years ago and have worked in many different types of vet surgeries since then. I joined Vets4Pets in 2018 after having some time out to start a family. I love my job and really enjoy being part of the excellent team here at Preston Vets4Pets.
At home I’m kept busy with my two children, my two German Shorthaired Pointers and our Ragdoll cat Milo.
Hello, I'm Lauren a 3rd year degree student veterinary nurse. I started my journey with Vets4Pets in 2019 on work experience and have since joined the team as a veterinary care assistant alongside my student nurse placement. I am currently loving learning every aspect of the nursing role and I have the best team here at Preston to support me.
In my spare time I enjoy long walks in the countryside with my patterdale terrier.. Completing my family is Alfie my ginger rescue cat and treacle my little guinea pig.
I love getting to know all of our clients and their fur babies and every one of them helps me in my journey.
