Meet the team
Hi I am Onur
I am originally from Ankara in Turkey and moved to the UK in June 2023. I qualified as a vet in 2022. I have a special interest in internal medicine. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and travelling.
Laura is an accomplished veterinary surgeon with extensive experience in emergency and critical care medicine (ECC) and a strong focus on feline medicine, cardiology, ultrasonography, acupuncture, and dentistry. After qualifying as a veterinarian in 2004 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, she pursued further specialization, earning a Ph.D. in Cardiology and honing her skills in emergency care. With over six years of experience in ECC, Laura excels in high-pressure environments, managing complex cases and delivering life-saving treatments for critically ill patients.
Laura’s expertise in cardiology enables her to provide exceptional care for patients with heart conditions, offering tailored treatment plans for optimal outcomes. She has a keen interest in ultrasonography, including performing advanced heart scans, and is currently working toward a certificate in ultrasonography to further enhance her diagnostic capabilities. Certified in veterinary acupuncture, Laura integrates this holistic therapy to manage pain effectively, especially for senior or chronically ill animals. Her proficiency in dentistry strengthens her comprehensive approach to patient care, recognizing the vital connection between oral health and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling, photography, running, hiking, and water sports. She frequently visits family and friends in Barcelona and shares her home with two cats: Albus Dumbledore, a Maine Coon, and Dobby, a playful Sphynx.
My name is Mira and I am originally from Slovakia, with professional experience in Slovakia, the UK, and Norway. My main interests are soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry. In the past, I participated in neutering projects in Ukraine, and I am currently organizing my own spay/neuter programs for stray dogs in Slovakia. At home, I have four rescued dogs.
Hi I'm Stacey. I have been working at Vets4Pets Rayleigh since September 2016, I started as a night nurse, then moving onto the day team and have since become the Practice manager. I recently completed by certificate in practice management. I have been a qualified veterinary nurse for nearly 20years and love every part of my job.
I live locally with my husband, 2 children, 3 dogs Bella, Maya & Cliff and our tortoise Koopa.
I am Jody, I started working at Rayleigh Vets4Pets in June 2021 as a veterinary care assistant, I have since moved positions to a student veterinary nurse and I have nearly completed my nurse training to become a qualified veterinary nurse. Outside of work I have a 20 year old horse called Marlie, we enjoy showing, dressage and jumping.
I really like general practice nursing and the variety it brings to the day. I enjoy working with local animal charities and seeing the progression of an animal in their care in to their new home.
