I joined the Wallasey branch in January 2018 after moving into the area and thoroughly enjoy it here!

I qualified in 2004 and have worked in referral practices, mixed animal, emergency work and first opinion practices all over Shropshire and Cheshire.

Outside of work, I have a active toddler, and a Labrador called Bentley who keeps me busy.

I enjoy being busy and active, and I am a keen runner and regularly partake in running obstacle events like Tough Mudders. I also enjoy ironing and reading and time with my husband.

Outside of work I enjoy cycling, fishing and walking my dog with my family.

My interest in working with animals has come from being brought up on a farm and owning a variety of animals from pigs to horses to dogs. After school, I moved to Leeds and completed a BSc in Equine Management due to my love of horses.

After my degree and student life I moved back to the Wirral and completed a few months in a referral practice, but felt that first opinion practice would allow me to learn more – this took me to the team at Vets4pets Wallasey!

At home i have 3 beautiful children and 2 guinea pigs. Any spare time i have i like to keep active and enjoy the occasional date night with my husband.

I started working at Vets4Pets Wallasey in September 2023 having previously worked in a different Vets4Pets for a year prior and have always dreamed of working in an animal based environment! I recently graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s University earning my degree in Zoology. I would love to use my degree to hopefully work in the animal welfare industry in the near future; as I have always had a huge passion for all animals no matter how big or small.

When I am not busy at work I enjoy going out with my friends as well as looking after my nieces & nephew. I also have 2 Shih Tzu’s called Charm & Cookie who always keep me occupied, especially when they’re looking for extra attention!
