Kalimera! I’m Dimitrios Tachos, and I’m from Trikala, a medium-sized city in central Greece. Growing up in a farming family, becoming a vet was always my dream, and I have studied Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the University of Thessaly in Greece, where I graduated in 2012. After my graduation, I moved to England, and after working for a few years with large animals, I decided to dedicate myself to small animals. During my working years as a small animal vet, I have gained experience in all kinds of veterinary topics, but my main interest is internal medicine and imaging. In 2022, I moved for a year to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where I further developed my skills, especially in emergency care, and also had the opportunity to come into contact with a lot of different nationalities and mindsets. Since September 2023, I have moved back to the U.K. and to Aintree Vets for Pets to join a veterinary partnership with some of my old colleagues and friends. A new journey has started, and I'm excited to live it. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your lovely pets in our practice!

Hi my name is Joshua Austin, I am half american and half italian and I’ve just recently moved to the UK from Italy. I graduated at the Università di Padova in Veterinary Medicine in 2021 and since then have been practicing veterinary medicine. Shortly after graduation I started an internship in Italy where I was able to improve in different fields and grow both professionally and personally as a veterinary surgeon. Since I was a child I’ve always loved animals, in all shapes and sizes, so whatever animal you might have I’ll be more than happy to meet them. I recently joined the Vets4Pets family and I couldn’t be happier of my choice. I’ve met wonderful colleagues and clients that made me feel welcome and right at home. In my spare time I love to travel and visit new places and being Italian I like to eat new foods. l love spending time outdoors, camping and fishing. But most days I spend taking care of my boa Gandalf, my four Padovana chickens, my ranchu fish Ciccia and serving my cat Cucufs who is very demanding. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member at our Aintree veterinary clinic where we’ll be sure to give you and your pets the best care possible.

Hi, my name is Giulia Dorigato. I graduated in early 2022 in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Padova and soon after my graduation I began an internship at an out of hours hospital working both day and night shifts to be able to further improve my skills in different fields of veterinary medicine. I have recently moved to the UK, here in Liverpool, from Italy and I have become a member of the Aintree Vets4Pets family and I couldn't be happier. I am an animal nutrition and feline medicine enthusiast. I worked as a nutritional consultant for a pet-food company from 2019 to 2023 and I was honored to participate at “Fédération Internationale Féline world show 2021”, which was an amazing experience. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, discovering new places, cultures and traditional local recipes. I also really like photography, gardening and sport. Being a veterinarian has always been my aspiration since I was a child growing up in the countryside surrounded by all kinds of animals. My enlarged family includes my lovely cats Cucufs and Winny, my funny Ranchu fish Ciccia, my four amusing Padovana chickens and my fascinating boa Gandalf. Taking care of animals is what I love the most and I can't wait to meet your furry pets to provide them with the best care possible that they deserve
