Richard Knight

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Read Richard Knight bio

Hi I’m Richard, the senior veterinary surgeon and partner here at Banbury. Since opening the surgery in November 2013, I have had the privilege of working alongside a great team of colleagues, at the surgery, in the Pets at Home store and with my support office colleagues in Swindon. I qualified from Bristol University in 1995 and have gained a vast experience with all species of animals from farm and equine to wildlife and zoo animals. In the last 10 years I have concentrated on small animals, domestic and exotic, with an emphasis on preventative healthcare and medical management of conditions. I’m currently (2018) enrolled in training for veterinary acupuncture, a proven method in the relief of chronic pain in animals. Outside of work I’m an active member of a local community choir and enjoy relaxing at home with my 2 rescue cats Earl and Gabriella.
