Meet the team

After qualifying from Bristol University, I have worked in several practices in Berkshire. Although I started my career in a mixed farm and companion animal practice, I soon realised that my main interest was in treating cats, dogs and other small animals. When I was offered the chance to set up my own surgery with Vets4Pets in Kingswood I leapt at the opportunity to return to Bristol. I have loved meeting our new clients and their varied pets, and I am really impressed at how friendly everyone is around here. I spend as much of my free time as possible walking in the local countryside. My main professional interest is in medicine, and I have completed a GP certificate in small animal medicine which has helped me to keep up to date with current thinking. However, I enjoy all aspect of this wonderfully varied job.

I graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in July 2010 and have since worked for several small animal practices as well spending two years with the RSPCA in London. Whilst I love all aspects of veterinary work, I particularly enjoy surgery. The opportunity arose to return to my hometown of Bristol a few years ago and I jumped at the chance. I love this city and i'm enjoying putting roots down here with my husband, our dopey but gorgeous Labrador, 2 cats and our one year old daughter Heidi

I qualified as a nurse in 2013 but have worked in vet practices for over 10 years and started out as a receptionist first! I love all animals great and small, furred, feathered or scaled and have a further nursing certificate in exotics. At home I have a naughty Collie cross, a ginger tom-cat and Kevin the budgie! In my spare time I love to spend time with my family (human and animal 😀)

I qualified as a RVN 3 years ago and started at Vets4pets just before Christmas. I have been lucky enough to volunteer abroad helping animals in need and have been able to look after some more exotic species. Nothing compares to a cuddle from all of your little ones though''

I started at Vets4Pets Kingswood at the end of 2020 as a student veterinary nurse in my fourth and final year of university. I have worked in practice for three years now and have loved every moment. I have a soft spot for cats and have two of my own, Betty and Fizz, who love to cuddle and play. I love meeting all your pets when they visit us in practice and giving them cuddles to comfort them during their visit

I am currently studying student veterinary nursing, animal behaviour and bio-veterinary science at the Bristol University. I previously worked as a Client care advisor and a Animal care assistant before focusing on my nursing career. I started at Kingswood on placement as part of my studies and since February been kindly offered a job as the Student nurse which I have loved every moment of it, Working with amazing and caring staff and taking care of so many wonderful pets ! In my spare I love to catch up with family on video calls, play computer games, read and spend time with friends ! When I catch up with my family I always get to see our two crazy dogs Marty the Shih Tzu and Sirus the pug who love to run wild on walks.

Having grown up with animals my whole life I knew I always wanted to work in the industry, so after graduating from university in 2014 I volunteered at a number of places in Bristol including Bristol Zoo, Noah's Ark and Wild Place. I joined the Kingswood Vets4Pets team in 2016 as a receptionist and have since worked my up to becoming practice manager. Although it can be hectic I can honestly say I have enjoyed every moment of the job! However, my favourite part is being able to give cuddles to all the pets that come in to the surgery.

I joined Vets4Pets at the start of September 2018 and have previously volunteered in many animal related places such as vets, farms and rescue shelters. I’ve loved animals since a very young age and have wanted to go into the animal industry for as long as I can remember. Due to my strong passion for animals I have gained two qualifications in Animal Nursing and Animal Management & Ethics. Also I have previously worked in retail where I realised I love talking to and taking care of clients! I am definitely more of a cat person as I have 2 gorgeous cats; Pixie and Archie, however dogs come a close second favourite. The best parts of the job for me is definitely giving all of our furry patients lots of cuddles and organising appointments in order for them to be happy and healthy!

I joined Vets4Pets at the beginning of December 2021, I have always worked in pharmacies and hospitals, but I’ve always loved animals and knew I definitely wanted to be in a career involving them. I have loved all sorts of animals from a young age, resulting in me owning, four dogs, 15 rabbits, a tortoise, 3 ducks and a goose! I think I am definitely more of a dog person and am always happy to have a cuddle, but I do love all the little bunnies that visit as well. My favourite part of the job is seeing all the different species and breeds that come in the practise, and of course having cuddles with all the animals that come to visit us!
Vets4Pets Bristol Kingswood is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
