I graduated from Edinburgh University and I was delighted to return to the area when I opened Vets4Pets Livingston in 2007. Before then I worked at veterinary surgeries in Mansfield, Coventry and Portsmouth. A special interest of mine is internal medicine and dermatology. When I get spare time I can be found out cycling or spending time with my family.

I am Alison  the lead vet at Vets4Pets Livingston. I joined the practice in May 2010. I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1999. I initially worked in mixed practice (beef, sheep and equine) before deciding to specialise in small animals after a few years in a busy West Yorkshire practice. I am now very experienced in all companion animal species with a particular interest in ophthalmology and feline geriatric medicine. I enjoy splitting my time between consulting and operating. In my leisure time I enjoy going to the gym and outdoor pursuits. I have two young children and two dogs (and occasionally my cat if he gets bored hunting!)

I graduated from Glasgow university in 1995 and started work in mixed practice. I enjoyed the variety of working with a mix of large and small animals in practices across central Scotland for many years.

In 2010 I decided to specialise in small animal practice and further develop my interest in using Acupuncture as another treatment option for our patients. I joined Vets4Pets Livingston in 2015 and enjoy working with this very dedicated team. Outside of work I enjoy going for walks and cycle trips with my family.

I joined vet4pets in 2016 after having worked in various different administrative positions. This one, is by far my favourite! With not having any pets of my own at the moment, coming into work is like getting to meet a new pet every day! My favourite part of the job, is getting to see the progress the sick animals make, from seeing how poorly they are when they come in, to how happy and healthy they are when they leave. Knowing that we are able to make our clients happy by making sure their best friend is well looked after, always makes our day.
