I am the Head Veterinary Surgeon and the practice partner here at Vets4Pets Sutton in Ashfield. I have worked for Vets4Pets since 2012, initially at Mansfield Vets4Pets before setting up my own practice here in Sutton in Ashfield in 2014. I was also a practice partner at Kirkby in Ashfield Vets4Pets for 19 months but I have chosen to leave my partnership there to concentrate solely on Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets. I enjoy all aspects of my job but I have a particular interest in small animal medicine, exotic animal medicine and dermatology. I especially love to see small furries and I am proud to say that our practice is a silver accredited rabbit friendly practice as deemed by the RWAF. I have recently enrolled onto a Certificate in Exotic Animal Practice where, upon successful completion of the course, I may apply to become an advanced practitioner in this field. I have 4 dogs (a Border Collie, two Cocker Spaniels and a Sprocker), 1 cat, 3 rabbits, 1 guinea pig, and six chickens! I am often seen with resident hedgehogs at my home that are either too small to hibernate, or are being rehabilitated due to illness. In my spare time I enjoy walking the dogs, meals out and going swimming when time permits!

I am a Veterinary Surgeon and qualified in 2015. I previously worked in a busy small animal hospital in London, however I am originally from Nottinghamshire. I aim to offer the highest standard of care to all my patients and treat them as my own. For me the best part of my job is the variety it involves, and obviously making poorly pets feel better! In the future i would like to specialise in ophthalmology. Outside of work i enjoy riding horses and generally spend all of my free time with them!

I trained as a veterinary surgeon at the University of Santiago de Compostela, in Spain, and graduated in 2016. Afterwards, I completed my studies with a post-degree in Exotic Pets Medicine as I have always been especially interested in these kind of animals. I have spent the last couple of years in Spain as a exotic and small animals veterinary surgeon, and I have since decided to move to the UK to seek new professional challenges. My two dogs and my two cats have come with me as they always go everywhere by my side. Ever since I was a child, I have always been passionate about animals and I make sure they are healthy and happy. I really enjoy my work every day. In my free time, I like going for walks, exercising outdoors and enjoying nature. Also, I like to spend time with family and friends.

I have been qualified as a vet since 2009, worked in mixed practice for a couple of years, but I have concentrated on small animals since 2012. I have worked for Vets4Pets for the past 5 years and I am now permanently based at the Sutton-in-Ashfield branch. My main interests are small animal medicine and I also love making sure older animals can enjoy the best quality of life they can. They help us through so many stages and events in our life, good and bad, and I feel its really important to help them enjoy their older years the best they can. I have 4 dogs of my own ( Labrador x, Jack Russell, Ridegeback x and a Beagle!) one cat, 2 guinea pigs and a horse! They are all very spoilt. When I am not a work I love walking the dogs and Eventing with my horse.

I qualified in 2016 but I've been with Vets4Pets for the past 7 years working at various different practices; most recently at Kirkby in Ashfield Vets4Pets. I absolutely love my job and I've recently been given the fantastic opportunity to become the Head Nurse at Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets working alongside a wonderful team. I am a trained Pet Health Counsellor and I have a keen interest in weight management and dental health and I help to run weight management and dental clinics at the practice. I'm also a Clinical Coach so I'm able to help train student nurses during their years at University or College. I have a German Shepherd cross called Max and two rabbits. I absolutely love hedgehogs and I'm often rehabilitating them! I've recently released by hand-reared hedgehog 'Hattie'.

When I was given the chance to work with animals in 2012, I jumped at the opportunity and am currently in my final year to become a veterinary nurse. Although its taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get were I am, I'm glad I took the career change and hope to be working along side animals for many years to come. Since becoming a part of the Sutton In Ashfield branch I still find myself learning new things and have enjoyed meeting my new clients and their pets.

I have recently started at Vets4pets as a receptionist in march 2017, I am enjoying meeting all the clients and their pets already! My ambition is to become a registered veterinary nurse. I am currently in my second year studying animal management at Nottingham Trent University, which I love. In September 2017 I will start my veterinary nursing degree. I have 3 cats, Jermaine, Luna and Freda, who I rehomed whilst on work experience at the practice. I love all animals and can't wait to meet you all and your pets!

I joined the Sutton-in-Ashfield team in 2014 and have worked as a receptionist for the last 3 years. In September 2018 I will be starting my training to become a veterinary nurse which I’m very excited about! I love being able to work with animals every day and enjoy being involved in their care. At home I have a dog called Nancy and a cat called Cindy-Lou, both of which were brought into us at the vets and I couldn’t resist!

I started working at Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets in October 2018 as the new Practice Manager. My previous role was working as a Senior Solutions Analyst at Experian in Nottingham for over 10 years. I am married to Steph and we share our house with a variety of furbabies including Logan the Sprocker who is pictured here. I help with the day to day running of the practice including managing accounts, dealing with insurance claims, managing people and being a friendly face for our colleagues and clients to chat to. Outside of work I enjoy cycling and spending time with my dogs.

I joined Sutton-in-Ashfield Vets4Pets in November 2015 as a receptionist. I enjoy listening to stories of what everyone's pets get up to. I love all animals especially reptiles and rabbits. I have recently joined the team as a Receptionist after graduating last year from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Equine Sports Science. I have always had a keen interest in horses and have studied Horse Management since leaving school, but I am definitely not impartial to cuddles of any animal kind! I wanted to work at Vets4Pets in Sutton as my first step on the ladder as part of the animal industry and I am keen to see the day to day life of a veterinary practice. At home I have one cat, Tilly, who is a bit of a pampered princess and more of a child than a cat!
