Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets

I am one of the practice partners here at Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets. I have worked for Vets4Pets since 2012, initially at Mansfield Vets4Pets before setting up my own practice here in Sutton in Ashfield in 2014. I was also a practice partner at Kirkby in Ashfield Vets4Pets for 19 months but I chose to leave my partnership there to concentrate solely on Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets. I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Exotic Animal Practice so I regularly treat exotic pets and I'm proud to say that our practice is a Gold accredited rabbit friendly practice as awarded by the RWAF. I also have particular interests in small animal medicine, cardiology and dermatology.

At home I have  4dogs, 2 cats and 4 rabbits. I've had various other pets over time including chickens, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and caged birds. I am often seen with resident hedgehogs at my home that are either too small to hibernate, or are being rehabilitated due to illness. 

In my spare time I enjoy walking the dogs, eating out and gardening

I qualified as a vet in 2011, and have been working in small animal practice since. For the last 5 years, I have been working as locum around Nottinghamshire, including covering holidays here at Sutton-in-Ashfield Vets4Pets. I finally decided it was time to settle down in one place again and took the job here as Head Veterinary Surgeon. I’ve brought lots of ideas with me from the many practices I’ve worked at, to ensure your pets will receive the best care possible! My main interests are anaesthesia, pain management and surgery.
I live with my husband, our 12 year old Kelpie, and 2 cats, and we have a 2 year old daughter who likes to boss us all around. We enjoy camping, hiking and travelling whenever we can.

I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from the University of Nottingham in Summer 2020. But as a vet student I spent several weeks on placement here at Sutton in Ashfield and also spent time as a Veterinary Care Assistant, so you may have seen me around!
I am really enjoying all aspects of the job, but particularly enjoy surgery.
I live with my husband and my Cocker Spaniel called Ringo”

My name is Paisley and I qualified in 2015. I have an interest in small animal medicine, gaining a post graduate certificate in 2021. I gained the RCVS Advanced Practitioner Status in medicine in 2023, meaning that I have demonstrated knowledge and experience in this area beyond my initial primary degree. I try to keep as up to date as possible with all the new and relevant diagnostic tests and treatments, to offer the best for all of your pets. Outside of work I have a young son who likes to keep me on my toes. I love to ride and have a horse called Havannah.

I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from Nottingham university in 2020 and have worked in small animal practice since graduating. I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine and have a particular interest in exotic species. Outside of work I am kept busy with my little boy, three basset hounds, 2 rabbits, a bearded dragon and leopard tortoise.

"I qualified as a Nurse in 2016 but I've been with Vets4Pets since 2011 working at various different practices. I joined Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets in 2018 as Head Nurse. I absolutely love this practice and the team that make it, so was over the moon when I was asked to become partner JVP in 2019 alongside Stephanie.

I love general Veterinary Nursing but I have a keen interest in inpatient care and Nurse consultations. Particularly weight management and dental health, but I help to run a variety of other clinics. I am also a trained Pet Health Counsellor. I absolutely love hedgehogs (and wildlife) and I'm often rehabilitating them!

At home, I have a wonderful little boy called Henry, 3 dogs (German Shepherd cross called Max, Belgium Shepherd called Marley and a Labradoodle called Barney) and two guinea pigs called Jaffa and Fudge."

"I joined the Vets4Pets team as a quailed RVN in 2019. I have a keen interest in anaesthesia, inpatient care and emergency and critical care, and I plan to start my certificate in emergency and critical care later this year.
I enjoy the nursing clinics we run, especially the weight loss clinics and senior pet clinics, and meeting you and your furry family.

At home I am kept very busy by my handsome tabby Maurice and my two gorgeous girls Harriett and Indie."

“I started working at Vets4Pets in November 2019. I completed my Veterinary Nursing training at my previous practice in Selston and studied at Bottle Green Training. I have a keen interest in exotics and enjoy that we see lots of exotics here at Sutton-in-Ashfield. I also enjoy doing anaesthetics, general inpatient care and emergency care. At home I live with my partner Amber, with our cat Patchy and dog Socks, who is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I also enjoy gardening and own chickens and ducks on my allotment”  

“I joined the team in 2017 as a receptionist whilst I was at Nottingham Trent University studying Veterinary Nursing. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020 and soon after did my training to become a clinical coach to help other students gain their qualification. My favourite parts of the job is anaesthesia and nurse consultations.”

I joined Vets4Pets Sutton in Ashfield in June 2023, after carrying out my placement here in order to complete my BSC (HONS) in Veterinary Nursing with Small Animal Rehabilitation.

“I joined the Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets team in August 2019 as a member of reception, in February 2021 I changed roles to veterinary care assistant and in April I started my training to become a veterinary nurse. I've always had a love for animals so I'm excited to start my new career! At home me and my partner have a senior cat called Jack who we fostered from Feline and Wildlife Rescue Nottingham but quickly fell in love with him and ended up adopting him.”

I joined Sutton in Ashfield Vets4Pets in the role of Veterinary Care Assistant in July 2022. I have a passion for working with animals and a keen interest in their health. I have undertaken a Diploma in Level 3 Animal Care and I have a degree in Zoology. 

I have a specific interest in exotics and felines. At home I have Two cats, Honey and Evie.

“I have worked for Vets 4 Pets since December 2021, after working in the hospitality industry as a Chef Manager for 10 years. My ambition is to continuously improve Sutton in Ashfields practice experience for clients and their pets, while enhancing the working environment for our team. I have one Degu called Lotty who is very loving and mischievous. I also have a passion for baking which I do in my spare time.”

I joined team Vets4Pets Sutton-in-Ashfield back in September 2019 as a Client Care Advisor after graduating from University. I have adored animals since I can remember and have had a variety of different pets when I was younger but I do have to admit that I am dog obsessed, particularly Golden Retrievers! I have 3; Gunner, Lotty and Topper. I also have 2 rescue bunnies, Hovis-Loaf and Horlicks.

I’m always up for a fury snuggle but if you bring a Golden Retriever in to the practice, well, you had better prepare for cuddle chaos!

I live with my husband and our two young children, also at home with us we have our two rescue pups Lulu & Phillip who we couldn't be without.

There is something new to learn everyday and I would love to improve and widen my knowledge in Veterinary care in the future.” 

I joined Vets4Pets in January 2023 after a career change from Pharmacy dispenser to Client Care Advisor. I have always had a love for animals and did work as a dog groomer before I had children. At home I live with my husband and two Daughter and we share our home with Finley the Cockapoo and Shelby the Tortoise. I am also a keen runner in my spare time.
